this is an addition to #17688 about reading the diagonals.
I’d like to suggest a new shortcut key feature that allows reading the entire rank or file from the current position on the board.

Use case:
This would be especially helpful for blind users navigating the board with a screen reader. Sometimes, I want to quickly know all the pieces on a particular rank (row) or file (column) without scanning manually square by square.

Suggested behavior:

• press: reads the entire rank (e.g., if on e4, reads a4 to h4)
• another press: reads the entire file (e.g., if on e4, reads e1 to e8)
• Shift +key : reverse reading direction (right-to-left for rank, bottom-to-top for file)

only squares with pieces on them are read.

Let me know if this sounds feasible. This would be another very practical addition to the navigation experience.
