This is expected behavior due to a thread-safety fix in POCO 1.14.0 (commit ece3603, PR #4512, issue #4435). What changed: A mutex now protects Why it hangs: If one thread blocks in Solutions:
The previous behavior (no mutex) was unsafe and could cause SSL errors during TLS renegotiation. |

Hello,
we are using Poco library to send Fix8 messages since version 1.7.8. Recently we upgraded to 1.14.2 and it broke our code since any communication after the login (with SSL certificate) with the remote server hangs on the sendBytes call (NetSSL_OpenSSL::SecureSocketImpl) , sepcifically at the LockT(_mutex) line.
Do you have any ideas why this is happening ? Are we missing something in the configuration of the Socket ?
Regards.
