Hi Tom, any help is welcome, whether monetary or human (especially). I would like to start working on supporting Qt6 in mid/late July, and I hope that the update we will make for Qt6 for version 3 of QGIS can also be valid for version 4 of QGIS, which will arrive in October. (I still have no idea how to support both version 3 of QGIS and version 4, maybe it’s not possible?). As for the advancements of the OpenLayers and Leaflet libraries, any time is a good time. So far, I’ve focused on balancing functionalities between the two exports, as well as implementing features that users found most useful, and even today the Leaflet export supports filters, which OpenLayers does not (I’d like to try programming this for the next release). What do you think? |

It looks as though both QGIS and Leaflet will get major updates in coming months. In addition to this, I believe qgis2web exports use an older OpenLayers version.
@andreaordonselli has done incredible things since taking over as principle maintainer of qgis2web. However, my guess is that the work required to update QGIS, Leaflet, and OpenLayers compatibility will be significant.
What is the plan? Am I right that you will need help with this work, Andrea? If so, would funding be enough, or do you need other contributors? How can the community help?
