Pipewire features that if enabled delays pipewire updates ei. Vulkan and vulkan video amongst other graphic api. Pipewire just like with pulse and other sound api brings these features to wayland. I therize that many vulkan and vulkan video on wayland issues could be resolved by enabling these features and using them in a wayland vulkan compositor. Unfortunately I am not a programmer and I might be wrong but pipewire's documentation seems to backup this theory it would also through the vulkan video allow vulkan to render all video formats.
