Btw, i opned another topic here for my planning of my additional battery boxes. Now having the board working I'm not sure how to connect finally to the box. I understand BLE is working fine as I tested. However I would prefer to use RS485 instead, I digest only bits and pieces out of the discussion here to basically understand there are some pros and cons per connection RS485<>BLE however I couldn't verify it nor do i find something officially. I still don't understand if I would be able to connect to the boxes via RS485 at all since the whole pack will be connected to the Cerbo. |

Hi,
It looks like the OTA settings do not work correctly in the new ESP Home version. I receive the following error if I try to compile:
`NFO ESPHome 2025.9.1
INFO Reading configuration /config/esphome/jkbms.yaml...
INFO Updating https://github.com/syssi/esphome-jk-bms.git@main
Failed config
ota.esphome: [source /config/esphome/jkbms.yaml:29]
platform: esphome
expected a dictionary.
on_begin:
[then] is an invalid option for [ota.esphome]. Please check the indentation.
then:
- switch.turn_off: ble_client_switch0
- logger.log: BLE connection suspended for OTA update`
I removed the lines and everything else is compiling fine.
