Description

Seems like this module is gaining traction among users, to prevent excessive amounts of questions and issues regarding this module or the susfs kernel, make sure you know or did the following:

For end users

  • if you don't know if susfs is installed on the kernel then susfs is not installed on your kernel...
  • Check your custom kernel changelog to see if your custom kernel has susfs patch installed.
    • if your custom kernel has susfs patched and my module didn't work, then the susfs installed there may be outdated. Contact your kernel maintainer to update susfs to 1.4.2/1.5.2.
  • if you use generic gki kernels with susfs patched (e.g this one) and have issues from the start (even without using this module), then contact the kernel maintainer of that kernel source for further assistance.
  • If your custom kernel doesn't have or doesn't know if susfs is patched to the custom kernel, contact your custom kernel maintainer to update to susfs 1.4.2/1.5.2.

For kernel maintainers

  • To add susfs to your kernel please refer to the guide in the official susfs4ksu repo https://gitlab.com/simonpunk/susfs4ksu
    • make sure you select the branch corresponding to your kernel version because the latest version is there.
