FOSS Streaming/VTubing Technology

I'm currently working on making streaming and VTubing work better on Linux, including a frame sharing solution for OBS similar to Spout2, as well as a bridge to make Windows apps that use Spout2 able to send video to OBS running natively on Linux.

I'm also starting work on a custom stream control system for myself (and anyone else who wants to hack on it) called NekoDeck.

There's also a secret project launching soon~ ✨️

I currently maintain the cef Fedora package, which powers the OBS Browser Source, as well as help out with the obs-studio package itself. If you have streaming or VTubing-related packages which you'd like to see in Fedora, let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Past FOSS Work

In the past I wrote the Apple M1/M2 GPU kernel driver for Asahi Linux and developed many of the Rust abstractions that are being integrated into the Linux kernel for Rust-based GPU drivers and other Rust for Linux infrastructure. I also helped out with the userspace Mesa driver for the same hardware.

I've also worked on FEX, muvm, and other bits and pieces of related technology.

Tokyo Hacker Girls

Two tech VTubers fell in love and started an adventure together!

We're Asahi Lina and Cyan Nyan, and together we're starting Tokyo Hacker Girls, a brand new YouTube channel about tech, music, and love.

Our first goal is to get matching 3D models designed and have an amazing 3D VTuber wedding, and we need your help for that! 💙
