The Indic Project was suggested around here, and it also has a Tamil dictionary.

One more time I will point out the dictionaries there are suitable only for full-sized (QWERTY) keyboards, where you do not need suggestions all the time, and if a word is missing, you can still type it. These dictionaries contain about 50000 words, but TT9 requires something like 1 million. In 12-key typing, you need a much more comprehensive list of all words and their respective forms.

~~And since searching in English, like "Tamil word list", does not yield too many good results, I need your help for searching the Tamil part of the Internet.~~

In summary, I highly recommend using some sort of an official dictionary or a word list. The lists generated from subtitles like in Indic project are usually of low quality. They contain repeating words, misspelled words and whatnot.

UPDATE: This time searching in English, actually produced meaningful results.

thamizhi-morph contains nouns and verbs, and a morphological generator to generate all word forms. If you have technical knowledge, could you please research how to generate word forms out of base words list? Do not generate anything, because the script will produce huge files. I'll do this on my machine. I just need to know how to generate the word forms with a Bash or a Python script.

This is what I need help with. Everything else, such as the final file format and how to arrange the letters on the keypad, and how to combine everything and make it work, all this is easy to do, and I can take care of it. Just help me create a text file that contains the words, one word per line.
