The real question here is why is tuta not accepting monero or atleast bitcoin directly? This is also concerning. Services like mullvad are a great role model for backend transparency and private payment methods. Having only paypal and credit cards is extremely limiting the protection of tutamail |

Very disappointed to find that the only way tuta accepts private payments is with a roughly 8% markup. This is rediculous given that monero, for example, would have less cost for Tuta than card payments, with negligible transaction fees. No other sellers on the proxy store do this as far as I can tell. Why is Tuta actively discouraging use of private payment methods?
