Just to let you know, various countries, like Germany, give every citizen the right to receive a refund within 14 (might differ for other countries) days after purchase. This law overrides anything else. So your section saying that all purchases are final might apply to some countries, but definetly not all. |

In my online bank it says that I "may" have a subscription for this app, marked to paid "monthly"(!!!) with the next payment marked as due three days ago, but not actually paid, although the bank can't seem to tell for sure whether it is a subscription or a one-off payment, and asked me to confirm whether it is one or the other. Somewhat nervously I clicked the "this was a one-off payment" button. This is extremely confusing, and it is rather alarming that the bank was not given clearer information from paddle.net Can you somehow get paddle to fix this? Surely they can make this less ambiguous somehow. |

I see "Businesses may choose to interpret the license as either per user or per machine". What about non-business users? For a home Mac, with several people each having their own account on it, is one license enough so that everyone can use it? |

Hello, if I purchased and activated the license on my macbook but want to run another install of MacOS through an external NVMe drive connected to the same macbook, will it still register if I try to activate the license on the macOS installation on the external drive as well or do 2 separate installations still need separate licenses in this configuration with the same computer? |

Hi there,
I was finally able to buy a license, but I was wondering if I could license 1x additional machine, as I have 2 macminis & 1 MacBook I use often.
I keep running into the issue of deregistering/reregistering that 1 device, and its getting annoying.
Any way you could help me out? Thanks in advance!

Hi there - I downloaded the app when I was looking for specific functionality (which it didn't have, and couldnt have, I subsequently discovered) and not finding that functionality, didn't use it, so the trial expired without me putting it through its paces. I now realise that it can do much more, but most of the functionality I'm now interested in is Pro, but as my trial has expired, I'm stumped. Is there any way to get a reset of the trial period? |

Hello. I purchased Better display in July 5th 2025, on another Mac, I deactivated the license on that Mac. I have installed Better display on my new Mac and pressed check for existing license with my email address I used to originally purchase with. Its says when I get the email that I don't have the product. Where can I get a copy of my license ? Thank you |

Hi, I just purchased a Pro license and would like to confirm how many devices can be activated with a single license key, as I have two MacBooks and one Mac mini for personal use. I came across this thread, and it honestly makes me a bit sad to see that the allowance has been reduced over time — from 5 devices per license, down to 3, and now 2 — all because some people or resellers were misusing extra seats. Before I activate the license, I just want to confirm whether the current policy is still limited to 2 devices per license. I don’t want to cause any trouble for the development team. BetterDisplay is an excellent project, and I genuinely appreciate the work behind it. |

I'm trying to evaluate - but the features I want to test (scaled resolution for a widescreen at work) are in the pro version. My trial version says "Pro in inactive, Status: Unlicensed, Trial Expired". Sorry if this is the wrong place to post - but is there anyway to address this, or is that a Paddle issue, and I just need to buy it... Thanks! |
