Traxectoria

O seu vínculo con Italia foi fondo, pois viviu en Florencia a maior parte da súa vida e escribiu ensaios de peso sobre a cultura renacentista. Foi amiga de importante figuras da cultura do momento, tales que Robert Browning, Walter Pater, George Bernard Shaw ou Edith Wharton.
