Roman Pilani (proto-Triarii) for Dux Italica
The last infantry for the core Roman/Latin force for my Dux Britanniarum adaptation, Dux Italica. These are Pilani, the wealthiest infantry in the army. They can afford the most expensive hoplite equipment and armour, although some are beginning to transition to the sputum rather than use the traditional aspis. They fought in an open-order phalanx in the style of the early Greeks (8th-6th century) rather than the close-order classical Greek phalanx of the Persian and Peloponnesian Wars.
They are led by a Tribune.
All models from Victrix with LBM shield transfers.

Fate Card Examples for Dux Italica
I've been working on decks of bespoke cards for my Dux Italica variant using Adobe InDesign and a bunch of PNG files I picked up for a few quid on Etsy. Pretty pleased with these! Most cards are simply the same or very similar to the core rules, but there are a few in these and the unsuited deck that are my creations. These examples are Romans/Latins (wolf) and Samnites/Hill Tribes (bull).

4th Century BCE Romans for Dux Brit adaptation 'Dux Italica'
Finally back on my Republican Romans for the Conquest of Italy project. Have transferred to a self-written supplement for Too Fat Ladies Dux Britanniarum rather than Midgard as the local group play loads of Dux Brit but haven't taken to Midgard, sadly.
Anyway, having painted a bunch of Antepilani (proto-hastati) over a year ago, I finally got back on track and did some more (proto-Princepes this time).
Here's all the Antepilani, 2 Satus 2 Centurions and a unit of Rorarii (skirmishers). The Pilani (proto-Triarii) and the Status 3 Tribune are now on the painting table.

The Great Arthurian Midgard Re-basing Project
Decided to rebase all my WAB Arthurian models for Midgard using diorama style unit basing. Really pleased by the results! Breathed new life into these classic old minis (along with a refresh of some shields to give a red and white vibe to one of the infantry contingents)
