HQCB Theme #24 Best Arrows Announcement

 Hello! It's time to create some happy hearts with the announcement of the Top 3 Best Arrows from Theme #24!!

Heart's Quest challenge blog had only 3 entries for the St. Patrick's Day occasion with hearts/love so all 3 artisans will get bragging rights!

Fabulous St. Patty's Day projects!! They are ahead of the March 17th celebration date to brighten up the mailbox of some loved ones in their lives!! They were so creatively clever on how they include hearts/love along with St. Patrick's Day element(s).

HQCB #24 REMINDER post for St. Patrick's Day with heart/love ending 27 February 2023

 Midway Point of Challenge Theme #24 at Heart's Quest has arrived!

This reminder post comes halfway in competition for St. Patrick's Day projects with heart/love expressions included. 

Theme #24 started on February 14 and ends on the 27th at 12:30am CST or 6:30am UK. 

There are 2 parts to Theme #24=

1. use at least 1 heart shape/word or love word

AND

2. use at least 1 St. Patrick's Day occasion element 

(leprechaun, shamrock, Irish flag, pot of gold, etc.)

owner Becca S created an ATC (artist trading card)

2.5" wide x 3.5" high

[Theme #24 required elements: (1) heart shaped shamrock leaves and handwritten 'love' AND (2) peach/orange and green colors and shamrock]

Once again, my scanner has faded out bright neon orange tones on the felt hedgehog and the base cardstock to peach. The hedgehog's prickly area is more like butternut squash in real life! The cardstock base is a deep bright neon orange. Still too cute. I don't have any leprechauns so I substituted the little hedgehog!

HQCB #24 Theme is hearts/love AND St Patrick's Day starting 14 February 2023

 Heartfelt Greetings to Heart's Quest Challenge Blog's Theme #24!

Theme #24 requires 2 parts:

*at least 1 usage of heart and/or love 

(heart shape, the word/form of heart, the word/form of love)

**AND**

*at least 1 element for the occasion of St. Patrick's Day

Competition starts at 12:30am CST/Chicago or 6:30am UK on February 14th and ends at 12:30am CST/Chicago or 6:30am UK on February 27, 2023.

Each participant may enter up to 3 new themed projects. Even though the DT chose to do cards this time, check the blog side bar for other acceptable formats. Lots of creative possibilities! Bragging rights are possible.

Too cute! She's a charmer! Excellent coloring, Diane! The elegant ribbon and little pink hearts just added more feminine sweetness! Gorgeous St. Patty's Day card!

DT member Willa Jean=

[theme #24 elements: 3 little blue hearts and 3 little green hearts AND lots of greens, clovers, and text & sentiment word(s) of luck and lucky]

This is so sweet! I love the strips of clovers for the lower half of the card! Such a clever layout design! The sentiment is the best! We are blessed with more than we deserve. Willa Jean also opted for some wee little hearts for her hearts/love component! Such a lovely St. Pat's card!

 [Theme #24 elements: for heart/love--kraft paper heart shape, clover leaves are heart shaped AND for St. Patty's Day --2 large glitter shamrocks, lots of greens and orange/peach, rainbows, and the sentiment "kiss me" like for "Kiss me. I'm Irish."]

What a fun slimline card this was to make! 3.5" deep x 8.5" wide for the peach cardstock base (which is actually bright neon orange that the printer's scanner faded to peach). The heart shape template was from a candy box lid saved from last year's Valentine season! More details will be shared on my personal blog.
