Today, along with the rest of the nation we reflect on what this day means. The orange shirt, now a symbol of the day, represents and honours Phyllis Webstad, who, on her first day of residential school had her orange shirt taken away from her. A safe and inclusive learning environment is every student's right, not privilege.
