Alpha Net - A new way to test SkyBlock Updates
Hey Everyone!
Today comes with unusual news, as we are opening up Alpha Net to test the next major SkyBlock update. Buckle up, as there is a lot of text in this thread.
UPDATE July 5th, 4:00PM ET - We're open again! Again... We've made a lot of performance changes that should help with the crashing.
UPDATE July 2nd, 6:00PM ET - We're closing Alpha again. Keep an eye on the Alpha forums for future update. http://hypixel.net/skyblock-alpha
UPDATE July 2nd, 2:00PM ET - We're open again! We've moved the Crystal Hollows to it's own instance to allow it to actually exist.
UPDATE July 1st, 1:00PM ET - We're going to have to make a lot of changes to the Crystal Hollows before we can reopen Alpha Net, so we can't give any ETA just yet. However, we have just now opened a forum for players to discuss content on Alpha Net: http://hypixel.net/skyblock-alpha
NOTICE JUNE 30, 6:00PM ET - At this time, we have closed down Alpha Net for a patch. It will open up this week as soon as possible. Thanks for the help!

Hypixel Under Maintenance, June 2021
Update #9 (June 23rd - 1:30PM ET): MVP++ Time and Booster cookies have been given to the players who had them active during the downtimes, as mentioned in update 6.
Update #8 (June 22nd - 6:00PM ET): The Hypixel Server is now open to all players.
Update #7 (June 22nd - 13:00PM ET): The Hypixel.net website is back online! You're looking right at it.
Update #6 (June 22nd - 12:00PM ET): The Hypixel server is now in limited maintenance mode which allows ranked players to join. Please be aware that we will potentially require partial and full reboots until we can nail down the settings to scale to our original capacity and complete the configuration of the new network.
As such, we may end up going offline for longer periods of time to change some deeper network settings. These downtimes could take an hour or more. We would recommend avoiding activities that shouldn't be interrupted, like competitive game modes.
If you encounter any connection bugs that seem related to this new network, please report your issues at https://hypixel.net/bug-reports/create.

Quick notes for time based items/features:
- If you had/have MVP++ active during the maintenance, you will be given extra days to compensate - even if it expired. This will come later during the week.
- If you had/have booster Cookies active in Hypixel SkyBlock during the maintenance, you will be given brand new untradeable cookies to compensate. Like the above, these cookies will come later during the week.
- All network boosters were paused at the start of maintenance and will be reactivated only when we can open to full capacity. Booster multipliers are still active during the pause
- Purchases made during the maintenance have worked fine. However, if you have issues, please contact our support team and they will sort it out as soon as possible. The link is at the bottom of the website.
- Daily Reward Streaks have been extended from 2 days to 7 days
- Website and API will remain offline for a few more days while we assess the situation
- The server will actually be functioning normally, stats are saved and there will be no rollbacks at the end of the testing session.
Hypixel now supports Minecraft 1.17
Hey everyone!
Minecraft 1.17 is out! The Hypixel Server has now been updated to support the new version.
As such, at this time, we do support the following versions:
1.8, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16 and 1.17!
If you come across any sort of exploits, bugs, issues, or anything else, please report it to our bug report section.
Finally, as always, I'd like to remind everyone that Hypixel is better played on the 1.8.9 version of Minecraft if you tend to play PVP games, as is usually the case for any Minecraft Servers out there.
Regarding Hypixel SMP 1.17
With Hypixel SMP we have to fully support the new update and all its new features and content. Due to this, it takes longer than supporting just the client as is the case with the rest of the network. There is a lot of pieces to supporting it fully. This includes open source Minecraft Server software to be updated, so we can run our custom systems on top of the vanilla server and other performance optimizations. We aim to support 1.17 fully in the very near future and we'll be working as fast as we can to support it!
UPDATE: 1.17 is now supported for Hypixel SMP, hop in and enjoy!
SkyBlock 0.11.5
As many of you have been awaiting, we are releasing a new slayer boss for the Enderman mob.
With this are a ton of items relevant to both this slayer boss and other combat situations like dungeons.
We've got:
- A new standard of strong bows
- Multiple support items
- New resource mechanics in the form of Soulflow and Overflow mana
- A new Voidling minion

SkyBlock 0.11.4
SkyBlock has now been updated to version 0.11.4. This update brings a variety of new and revamped content. By the way, did you know backpacks were back?
