A new patch has just been released for Arcade fixing bugs across multiple games.

Hypixel Says

• Fixed an issue where Zombies would track dead players.
• Fixed an issue that allowed water to be placed in unintended locations.
• Fixed an issue where multiple death messages would occur.
• Fixed multiple issues where players could break blocks and beds that they shouldn't be able too.
• Fixed an issue to prevent Zombies spawning invisible.

Build Battle

• Fixed an issue where player particles wouldn't save to the loadout correctly.
• Fixed a formatting issue with the theme at the start of the game.
• Fixed an issue where /shout wouldn't show the muted reason if you were muted.
• Fixed an issue where the Horse GUI had glass without a title.
• Fixed an issue where Blaze mobs would shoot players during the voting stage.
• Magma Cubes can now be resized.
• Ghasts are now able to be spawned, however to prevent them from flying away they cannot be moved.

Pixel Painters

• Fixed an issue where win messages would use other players language to display the text.
• Fixed an issue where karma wasn't given when saying "gg" or "good game" after the game ended.

Party Games

• Fixed an issue where the Avalanche game wouldn't end if other players left.
• Fixed an issue that allowed you to ride pigs in the Pig Fishing game.
• Fixed multiple issues relating to boss bars and them not counting down correctly.
• Fixed an issue allowing players to die before the game "Frozen Floor" started.

Farm Hunt

• Fixed an issue where wins wouldn't contribute to the Win Quest.
• Fixed an issue where the boss bar wouldn't count down correctly.

Bounty Hunters

• Fixed an issue where karma wasn't given when saying "gg" or "good game" after the game ended.

Creeper Attack

• Fixed an issue allowing arrows to get stuck in the villager.

Football

• Fixed an issue where games wouldn't end if all players on a team left.

Mini Walls

• Added an additional check to prevent teams from going above the limit.

Along with these we also fixed some small issues in the lobby and other minor exploits. I hope this makes your Arcade experience a little less buggy

Our new Social Menu / friends & parties UI update is now live!

The Social Menu update adds new UI-based ways to manage friends, parties and guilds. All of our current systems use chat-based commands which work well, but are hard for new players to learn. We hope this new system will make things easier for both new players and old players, adding new visual ways to manage friends, parties and guilds, and make it easier for people to join in with the fun!

Please Note: All the old commands still work. This new system adds new ways for you to manage your friends and parties, not intended to replace commands for people who prefer typing commands.



▶ How to Use the Social Menu

The Social Menu has replaced the My Profile icon on your hot bar. To open the Social Menu, simply right-click whilst holding your player head icon in the hotbar in lobbies.

The Social Menu is split into 5 tabs which you can access by clicking the icons at the top of the menu. From left to right, the icons represent:

• Edit My Profile / Change Settings
• View and manage Friends
• Create and manage Parties
• Manage your Guild
• View a list of Recent Players, players who you have recently been in a game with

It's our hope that these menus make it easier for you to do things without having to memorize a lot of commands. In the Profile / Settings tab you can add various social media sites so friends can follow you on Twitter, YouTube or other sites. And with Recent Players, you can easily find the people you just played with and message or add them as Friends.

You can also view other player's profiles by clicking on their name in the chat, or by clicking their heads in any of the tabs in the menu.

From the Player Profile menu, you can:

• Send the player a friend request or remove them from your friends list
• View their Social Media accounts
• Report the player easily
• Invite them to a party
• Add them to your ignore list
• Manage their guild membership if they are in your guild

We've teased it on Twitter, and it's finally here - introducing our latest PTL game, Hypixel Zombies!

Zombies is a round-based wave survival game inspired by our favorite 'horde' based games over the past 10 years, and a spiritual successor to classic Hypixel arcade game The Blocking Dead. In Zombies, you team up with 3 other players in a cooperative fight to stay alive as wave after wave of undead creatures break through barriers across the map and attack you. Kill zombies and repair barriers to gain gold you can use to unlock new areas and buy new weapons and upgrades - can you make it all the way to Round 30?


Hypixel Zombies is replacing UHC Deathmatch in the PTL. As we said when we first launched the lobby, only the most popular and most hyped games will continue active development and become full minigames on the server. We know some of you were big UHC deathmatch fans, and we hope with the rapid development of the PTL we'll be able to make a more popular game in future that satisfies your tastes

v0.1 of Hypixel Zombies is available to play right now in the Prototype Lobby. Like all PTL games, Zombies is still in active development, so as always report any bugs you find and feel free to offer suggestions. Read below to find out more about the game!


▶ How to Find and Play PTL Games
The Prototype Lobby (PTL) is a space on Hypixel where you can test all our in-development minigames and give your feedback.

To access the PTL, simply do one of the following:

1. Open the Game Compass (compass icon on hotbar) and click the Anvil icon (PTL)
2. Click the Prototype Lobby NPC in the Main Lobby
3. Or type the command /lobby PTL into your chat and send it

Once in the PTL, you'll see that you can join a game of Zombies via the NPC to the left of the infoboard.


▶ What is Hypixel Zombies?
Zombies is a round-based survival game in which you team up with 3 other players to fight waves of enemies. At first the game is relatively straightforward - shoot zombies with your gun in order to gain Gold and advance to the next rounds. As you progress through each round, enemies become stronger and more difficult to defeat with just basic weaponry. Advance through the map to gain access to better weapons and armor, and flip the Power Switch to activate machines. Machines cost gold to use, but give you various benefits that will aid in your struggle.

In v0.1 of the game, there are 30 rounds. Survive all the way through round 30 to win!

Controls

• Fire Weapon - Right Click
• Reload Weapon - Left Click
• Open Doors / Buy Weapons - Right Click
• Repair Windows - Hold Shift
• Revive Teammates - Hold Shift

Hints & Tips

• Your current ammo count is displayed on the EXP bar above your hot bar. If you run out of ammo you'll need to buy more.
• Different guns have different ranges and bullet spreads. Use the right gun for the right occasion!
• Don't spend all your gold on opening doors! Make sure to upgrade weapons and armor for a better chance at survival.
• If caught in a tight spot, switch to your sword for a quick melee attack. Be warned: this has a cooldown.
• When a teammate gets knocked down, you can revive them by holding SHIFT near them. If you don't revive them, they will die - but they will return the next round if surviving players make it that far

It's officially here - Bed Wars has fully released! Version 1.0 of Bed Wars is now available to play in its own lobby, with all that good stuff you expect from a full Hypixel minigame experience. Bed Wars is our first Prototype Lobby game to release as a full minigame and we are extremely excited to show you what we've been working on.

Read on below for a full list of changes and additions, or play it right now by clicking the Bed Wars lobby NPC, game menu icon, or using the command /lobby bed wars.

▶ What is in this update?

• A new game Lobby and info board
• 10 new maps, and the return of previously removed map Crypt
• Leaderboards, using our new leaderboard framework
• Stats tracking per-mode and a Bed Wars leveling system
• All new in-game Cosmetics, unlocked through Bed Wars Loot Chests
• Achievements and Challenges
• Lots of bug fixes and small improvements

▶ Bed Wars Lobby
Existing as a port between dream worlds, the Bed Wars lobby contains everything you need to play Bed Wars - and a parkour course, of course! Interact with NPCs to play different modes or check out your stats and more. Near the back of the lobby is the Shopkeeper - interact with him or use the emerald icon on your hot bar to open the cosmetics shop.


We have also included our new Leaderboards system. You can see the Top 10 players for Bed Wars Level, Wins, and Final Kills. Click the hologram toggles at the bottom of each list to change between Daily, Weekly and Lifetime time periods. Use the toggles to the right-hand side of the Leaderboards to switch between the Top 10 and your personal position on each leaderboard - you can also filter the results per game mode (Solo, Doubles, Teams (combined), 3v3v3v3, 4v4v4v4 or all.

We hope that by including these options, you can better see your position on the leaderboards for each category in each game mode, instead of just seeing a Top 10. Let us know what you think!

▶ Bed Wars Level and Stats
Stats are now recorded for Bed Wars, and can be seen by interacting with the Stats NPC in the lobby. We've added Bed Wars levels; The more you play Bed Wars, the more you will level up. Every time you level up you'll receive a Bed Wars Loot Chest containing in-game cosmetics to unlock. If you hit level 100, you will move to the next prestige level and gain new cosmetic display options.

▶ Cosmetics and Loot Chests
Based off your experiences in the PTL and your feedback, we have decided to not add any gameplay-changing kits or perks to the core Bed Wars modes. Bed Wars is instead launching with an in-game cosmetics system featuring all new types of cosmetics never seen before on the server - a first for a Hypixel minigame.


Cosmetic Categories include:

• Projectile Trails: Add particles trails to your projectiles
• Final Kill Effects: Adds a special effect that takes place when you Final Kill another player
• Victory Dances: Special dances that happen when you or your team win a game
• Death Cries: Play a custom noise when you die
• Sprays: Spray a custom-image onto the walls of the map
• Glyphs: Spawn a custom image Glyph above your head
• Island Toppers: Adds a custom built Topper to your starting island
• Shopkeeper Skins: Customise the skin of your shopkeeper
• Kill Messages: Change all your kill messages to custom ones

All cosmetics can be used in game. Cosmetics are unlocked in Bed Wars Loot Chests which you can find by leveling up, or purchase on the Hypixel store. Each Loot Chest contains 3 randomly selected cosmetics ranging in rarity from Common to Legendary - the higher the rarity, the harder they are to find. Duplicate items will give Bed Wars coins which can be used to directly purchase cosmetics from the Cosmetics menu.

Ranked players also get a free spray - if you're VIP, VIP+, MVP or MVP+ you can unlock a special unique spray tied to your rank. Check it out in the My Cosmetics section of the shop!


You can open Loot Chests and view all your cosmetics by interacting with the Shopkeeper NPC in the lobby, or using the Emerald Shop icon on your hotbar. The box opening process is based on a new system we've created, and we think it's very fun and cool - let us know what you think.

Not just content with adding literally everything else, we're also releasing 10 new maps (yes, 10) and also re-releasing previously removed map Crypt. You can play them right now in the Bed Wars lobby - use the MVP+ Map Selector to select and play them whenever you want.


▶ Achievements and Challenges
The v1.0 release of Bed Wars includes many Achievements and Daily Challenges. Achievements can be viewed in My Profile on the hotbar, and challenges can be viewed by interacting with the Quest Master in the lobby.

▶ Future of Bed Wars
v1.0 is a big step for Bed Wars, and it took us a lot of work to get here. However that doesn't mean the work is over! We've absolutely loved your response so far, and will continue to support Bed Wars with updates including new gameplay features, more maps, and potentially more modes - we may even test these in the PTL!

Your feedback over the past few months has been invaluable to improving Bed Wars and getting it to this point. We want to thank for you playing, commenting, and sharing, and we hope you continue to play and enjoy Bed Wars plus all our future new PTL games.

Coming very soon is our long awaited Social Menu update, and a new Prototype Lobby game. This Summer is gonna be hectic, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all grinding those levels out on v1.0 of Bed Wars starting right now
