In an effort to make finding and using cosmetic items on Hypixel easier, we've updated the Cosmetics menu with 2 new features: Favorites and Search! And as a reward for Ranked players, we've added 16 new Animated Hats for VIP, VIP+, MVP and MVP+ players to unlock and play with.

You can now search for any item in the cosmetic menu by clicking the Signpost icon in the bottom-right corner (see above). Just click the signpost icon, then type in the name of the item you want to find, then click 'Done' to generate a list of results to choose from.

We've also added a Favorites bar. Right-click on any cosmetic item to add it to your inventory, where it will appear on the bottom row. This is a great way for you to add your favorite or most-used cosmetic items, so you can activate them more easily!

Finally, as a reward for Ranked players, we've added 16 new animated hats available to unlock now in the cosmetics menu. Each Rank tier get 4 additional hats, so VIPs can unlock 4, VIP+ can unlock 8, MVPs can unlock 12, and MVP+ players can unlock all 16!

Do you like fast-paced team-based PvP action? Today we are launching Mini Walls, a brand new Arcade game on Hypixel!

Gameplay

Like Mega Walls, the objective of Mini Walls is to defend your team's Wither from enemy teams. However in Mini Walls, we've scaled down the action and made it much quicker to play.

In Mini Walls there are 4 teams of 4 players - each team has a base separated by walls. Inside each team's base is a Mini Wither, and as long as your Mini Wither is alive your team can respawn after dying. But if your Mini Wither loses all of its health, you can no longer respawn - death will be permanent!

You can choose to attack other players and Mini Withers or stay home to defend your own. Players near their own Mini Wither receive extra health regeneration as a bonus!


The walls drop after only 15 seconds, so you'll need to be quick to prepare your defenses. Mini Withers lose health over time and after 3 minutes all Mini Withers will die even if they don't take any damage.

After all Mini Withers are gone, the Deathmatch phase begins. In this phase no players can respawn, and the world around you slowly breaks and falls making hiding very difficult. Mind your step!


Kits

In Mini Walls there are 3 kits / classes. All kits comes with a pickaxe, axe, sword, bow, wool building blocks, and arrows that regenerate over time.

Arrows damage players as per usual, but they also break wool building blocks instantly - making them a great tool for destroying defenses!

The type and amounts of each item vary between kits, so make sure to choose the one that best matches your style!

Do you like rewards? How about a free reward EVERY DAY!? Introducing our new Reward Card system on Hypixel!

Reward Cards are a new way for you to get free in-game items on the server. We designed them to be frequent and fun with a large selection of cool rewards to choose from. Each day you can claim 1 free Reward Card from our website by visiting the Delivery Man in lobbies.


HOW IT WORKS
To claim your reward, right-click Delivery Man in lobbies and left-click the new Reward Card icon. This will post a URL link to our website in the chat - click the link and open it in a web browser to start claiming your reward!

Each time you claim, 3 cards are drawn at random from our deck. Rewards include minigame coins, Hypixel Experience, Mystery Box items and more! You can left-click to claim 1 of these 3 rewards to receive in-game. Hover over a revealed card to find out more about it.

Reward Cards can be Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary rarity level. Common is the least valuable, and Legendary is the most valuable and most difficult to find.

By default you can claim 1 time per day - the timer resets each day at midnight EST (04:00am UTC). But you can use Reward Tokens to claim more - 1 token can be spent at the Delivery Man to let you claim 1 extra time. Reward Tokens can currently be found in cards, and we may add more ways to unlock them across the server.



DAILY STREAKS & SOCIAL SHARING
Included in the system is a Daily Streak counter. For each day you claim in a row, you build up your streak which is displayed on the Rewards web page. After claiming each day for 9 days in a row, you get 1 free Reward Token, which lets you claim 1 extra time!

We also added a way to show off your chosen reward. After claiming a card you can share it on Twitter or Facebook by clicking the icons. You can also download the card image for uploading on other websites, or sharing right here on the forums!


This is a brand new system, and whilst we've tested it a lot we expect there to be small changes and bugs to be fixed. If you find a bug or other issue please post it in our Bug Reports forum: https://hypixel.net/forums/server-bug-reports.35/

Summer is kicking-off on Hypixel with our latest Arcade game: FOOTBALL!

Inspired by the real life sport of Football (or Soccer), you can put your skills to the test in fast-paced 5v5 physics-powered action. Touch the ball to dribble and control it, or left-click it to kick it. The team that scores the most goals in 4 minutes wins.



You'll be battling it out in an awesome indoor arena built by our team.

Improvements to Tipping
Admin Note: We originally had the tipping changes explained in detail here - however these started to dominate the topic and we want to keep this thread focused on some Football Hype!

Speed UHC is now available for everyone to play! Use your compass to join!

Inspired by classic UHC action, Speed UHC is a much quicker version of the popular minigame. Team up or go Solo in a fast-paced fight for survival using your selected tools, perks, and masteries to help you win. You must be careful, as the only way to regain health is through golden apples and brewing potions!


Speed UHC uses vanilla crafting recipes but the steps have been sped up and important resources drop instantly, making the average game last only 10 minutes. If you don't have enough time to play a full UHC game, try out Speed UHC!

Unique Features

• Instant Potion Brewing
• Gain Salt and Tears by playing

• Unique Mastery system
• Overview Minimaps
• Unlock items directly with Salt (gained from duplicate items)

PLAYER TRACKER
Instead of using a compass, we've added our own twist on the map item to help you keep track of things!


In insane mode, during Deathmatch, or if you head to the Nether this minimap will also render enemy positions as red arrows!


MASTERY PERKS
Mastery Perks are unlocked as LEGENDARY drops from the Tear Trader; you can only have one Mastery Perk active at any time.
Everyone begins with Wild Specialist active (which reduces environmental damage by 50%) but there are 7 in total to unlock!

TEAR TRADER
Gain tears from killing players. Once you have 20 tears, you can try and trade them for a random item from the Tear Trader.
If you get a duplicate item - no need to get salty about it; you can directly unlock kits and perks using salt gained from duplicates!


Who is the saltiest of them all? Find out on the Total Salt leaderboard in the lobby.

FULLY FEATURED
There are over 60 kits and perks to unlock, 3 maps to melee on, 4 gamemodes, a complete set of achievements, quests and challenges, full website integration and parkour to partake in!

Today marks the second part of the Leveling Update! We have slightly increased the rewards you get for completing quests, and we've added a new feature called Challenges that will help everyone gain Hypixel Experience faster! More information about them below.


Clicking on the new Quests & Challenges icon located in the My Profile (right-click the head in your hotbar while in a lobby) will now bring up a sub-menu that lets you choose which game's quests and challenges you want to view.


Challenges
Challenges are "mini-quests" that you don't have to manually start in order to complete them. As of now, every game on the server has at least 1 available challenge that can be completed. For example, games who have their own lobby have 4 available challenges each (more will be added later) whereas each game inside the Arcade lobby has 1 challenge each.

Everyone, regardless of rank or Hypixel Level, can complete up to 10 challenges every day. These challenges reward 1200 Hypixel Experience, for a total of 12,000 every day if you complete 10 of them. If you want, you can complete the same challenge multiple times per day, but only once per match.

Here are a few challenge examples:


Quest changes

• Paintball and Arcade's Quest Masters have now been unlocked, each adding 3 quests.
• Quest rewards have been slightly increased.
• MVP+ players can now enable automatic quest activation via the quest menu. This means you no longer have to manually start them when this option is enabled. They will be automatically started when you join a lobby.
• One of the two Quest Masters has retired, and the remaining one has moved closer to the lobby spawn point.
• Old Quests that required you to play multiple different gamemodes have been removed.

Achievements
We have added two new tiered achievements, Quest Master and Challenger, both require you to complete a number of quests and challenges respectively.
