Here is the farm house kitchen cupboard, a fairly usual style in the early Twentieth Century. That is evidenced by the woof green flour bin and sifter. At least you can tell when you are running down on flour. That would still make a lot of sense in a modern kitchen when a lot of cooking goes on. Other items include legumes and rice on top.
