I’ve added the final touches to this apple orchard! There are a lot of elements in this piece that remind me of the acreage I grew up on. The barn, the dirt paths around the yard, the dugout surrounded by trees, the highway, and the large fields beside our place. My family always said I was a city girl stuck in a small town. But now that I’m constantly surrounded by hustle and bustle, and cars and large buildings, I often miss nature fully surrounding me. I love the city and the opportunity ... However, I’m so overjoyed to know that someone appreciates my art enough to hang it in their home! An early arts and crafts style manor from the early 1900's, I was commissioned to replicate this estate with the wild area and river meadows, fishing lake, agricultural land and the manor itself. It was a challenge to organise at the size it is, but I'm glad I took it on as I'm proud of the end result. Swipe to see a couple closer images! . My commissions are now OPEN again on my site!
