I like the art and the quirkiness of the cat in general, but  boy am I terrible at those games XD Managed to clear it on Beginner difficulty and nothing else.

I am, however, impressed you implemented several difficulty levels.

For me, the interface, while pretty in itself, was visually at odds with the idea of eldritch piano music. I think I would've preferred something a little closer to diegetic interface elements. Additionally, the response on hitting a note was basically non-existent. Some sparkle or at least a much brighter highlight would help, anything to indicated the player did it correctly, given there really isn't much room to experiment.

Hah, cat is always a win choice. Loved the art. Beautiful music.

Took me a bit to figure out I didn’t have to wait for the eyes to reach the end before clicking.

Thanks!

Thanks for playing ^^

The music is really cool and the art is visually appealing. It's unusual for a game of this style that you can hit the notes anywhere on the screen, but I'm not complaining! I appreciate being able to play it entirely with the mouse, I'm much more coordinated than with the keys, I was always bad at osu... Good job!

Very cool game, I've made a rhythm game in the past and they're super difficult to put together, especially in such a short time so congrats!

The music is great, the art is okay, just does not vibe with me. Mechanically the game is decent. I think you can use some feedback when a note is clicked or missed, the game will feel way more polished. Overall a nice game!

Thanks for the feedback :)

Amazing job on having everything come together! The graphics look great, and of course the cat's design has such an amazing balance of cosmic entity while still being cute.

Quick question, I was instinctively playing it like a rhythm game and mostly pressing the keys when they'd get to the bottom of the screen, but would notice that the game would accept it even if pressed them really early. Was that intentional?

Again, great job, and congratulations on finishing the jam!

Wow the atmosphere and art of this game is great! I got the good ending and got the kitty to sleep~

I did struggle on gameplay at first, till I realized I can press it at any time! Then it was really fun ^^

Exceptionally good music. Had fun with it.

Glad you enjoyed it ^^ Thanks for playing!

Very cool project, I like these kinds of games :) Excellent graphics, atmosphere and music!

I thought I could jump straight into the hardest level, but the cat ended up crying right at the start.

Well polished and fun! Great vibe! I definitely thought I needed to hit the notes right when they were under the A, S, D,F indicators. Once I realized I could hit them before that, it got a lot easier haha! I bet it could be even more satisfying with extra feedback when you get the notes right, or extra feedback the better your timing.

Well, that is a creepy cat! I usually play the easiest level first, in every new game I play, so I remembered this when I was at Day 3. I went Extreme - I underestimated extreme!!

This was really well made! Great art and great audio. I feel like the difficulty leap between easy to medium is wild though, easy was way too easy for me and medium was way too hard. Otherwise, this was so well done!

I'd do anything that cat wanted.

I really enjoyed playing, and the art and overall feel is so cohesive!

A cat with many eyes, interesting. Although difficult.

I can't believe this is a one week project! Love the idea, mechanics and overall feel of the game, I just suck so so much at rhythm games haha

Thanks for the feedback. I had to cut back on sleep to meet the deadline. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The final difficulty level remains unbeatable for me without fully leveling up the talent tree.

Love the cat and overall atmosphere. Are upgrades do their role? Didn't get any money, pass all three days.

Developer

The game has higher difficulty levels where you can't get through without upgrades.

My exact experience taking piano lessons growing up.

I'm so impressed by this.  Love the concept but the polish, art and mechanics are so so good :D
