Should there be any sound? There was absolutly none in my playthrough.

I liked the visuals, but a bit more light would be nice. The controls felt good, overall, maybe add some more feedback to it. But it was fun to explore the lighthouse.

Also: This was by far the most beautiful menu screen. One might argue that this isn't exactly an important category in a jam, but it looked really good!

One problem I had was your tutorial disappearing without my input: Given the font it was hard to process the text in time and check out what's happening.

The minigames were fun. However, a little repetitive.
Would have loved to see the creature play a bigger part by getting closer or affecting the player in some way.

Overall, a nice atmospheric experience.

Really liked the atmosphere and setting! The moment when I stepped outside and saw the eyes out on the water for the first time was a delight. I did struggle with the controls somewhat, the framerate was quite choppy for me, so getting up the stairs (especially on the second night) was a struggle. Also would have loved more sound, I could barely hear the sound as is. Overall vibe was great though, really liked how the lighthouse was degrading over time and the environment was changing over time. Also liked the highlight indicators and the goals up top, they were quite helpful in making sure I didn't get lost. Neat entry, good job! :)

Thank you so much!

Oh, I missed what happened at the end, it was so quick. I'm guessing a jumpscare. I just heard the sound, which was not loud, luckily. I couldn't read the popups, thank you for having the objectives on. I started feeling somethings gonna happen when I first saw it over the ocean. Nicely done, I like the attention on details like the water waves and thank you for the outlines on the objective objects!

Thank you so much!

I really like the decaying mind interpretation of the theme, the lighthouse was atmospheric and very dreadful to walk around. The reveal of the thing was well done. I think the minigames while functional could have been slightly more complex, like the gears one was good, everything else felt meh in comparison. And ye, make the text dialogue move on click rather than automatically. Overall a well made entry, I enjoyed it.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The dialogue was supposed to be on click. Will need to take a look at why its dismissing on movement!

Good game! The aesthetics matched the story perfecly. I'd recommend to keep the popups a little more, or give the user the oportunity to pass them when they're finishing reading. I was expecting a jumpscare from Chuthulu at the end hahaha. I didn't hear any music or sound effects, I think the game could benefit from that in case you want to incorporate it in future updates :)

Developer

Thanks for giving it a try! We'll have to take a look at the sound! :)

The horrors of dementia.

Well executed.

Notes:

The text popups disappeared before I could read them! It might be better if they stay until you click to dismiss them.

I love the repair minigames, very tactile!

My laptop was too weak to run the game above 10 fps, so I was unable to climb the broken staircase and end day 2. I like the concept though, the sound and visuals of it are very nice.

Thanks for trying it and for the feedback!!
