Ranked from 32 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
How does the game fit the theme?
The game every 5 rounds will ask you for a challenge where you can get better rewards, however, the enemies in that round will be very strong. Therefore you are risking your progress for possible better rewards. There also exist a card in the game which is a biscuit that you can find in those challenge rounds.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None, all code and assets are made from scratch except from music.

Wow, we had very similar ideas for our games! :>
Anyway, it’s really cool! The round progression system, with the challenge in the fifth round, is really interesting. It might lack a bit of upgrade variety, but considering the 1-week time limit and the fact that you worked on it alone, that’s understandable. Great work!
Thanks for your feedback!
Round 8 was where it ended me. Defeated challnge round tho! Neat game and concept. Excellent for a jam.
Thanks!
fun round based roguelike-on the challenge round making the entire thing red suddenly isn't the greatest but other than that nothing wrong with it some more upgrades could be quite fun but I get if you ran out of time or something like that
Thanks! I wanted to add more things but I didn't have enough time to make more cards in one week.
makes sense
visuals are very neat
maaaasive improvement would be the camera being slightly ahead of the player, not behind. You need more time to respond to things that are moving towards you from where you're travelling not from behind you. having more visibility behind you is not helpful.
Felt like a solid game loop with the upgrade mechanics though I with there was some upgrade that really changed the game like something that gives you a new attack or allows you to trade mana for health or something (though I understand that may have been out of scope)
Good joob!
Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it.
The first few round were pretty easy, but it became harder fast! Visuals and mechanics are both really good, but the music gets a bit annoying soon
Thanks for you feedback!
Love the art and music! Challenge rounds were super fun!
Thanks!
