Super creative and funny idea. Impossible to play for more than a few seconds though when you become so fast it's impossible not to dive into death

Looks and sounds really cool! I do think it is a bit hard though, it's over within 10 seconds most of the time. I love the idea, really unique! Also I should mention, lives didn't reset on replays, so I just refreshed the page each time.

Love the idea, it was really hard to read the text and honestly I think I won a few times while thinking I died? Appreciate you making it for those with short attention spans like me, great work! I hope to

Developer

hahah thanks, I was trying to make somethign that went ofr a max of 1 minute at least i managed that!

A nice concept but I think maybe too tricky! Perhaps if the DVD logo was smaller and there were fewer instant death pickups? I'd also like to be able to skip the opening text. It looks really good!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I agree the starting text should have been the first time only. The balance was also way off because i left the too the end haha

The game looks and sounds so good that it doesn’t even matter I don’t know what’s going on :D

What a really cool shader! I felt nostalgia, as I used to love watching the DVD logo hit corners. Now I've got a game for it! I loved the chaotic vibes of this. The music was also adding a lot to the game!

Visuals and audio are superb. The filter is a bit too strong making it difficult to see, but I love the visuals anyway. It does get a bit hard to tell what is happening after collecting a few biscuits, to the point where I have no clue how I'm dying. Love the music, it has a fun intensity to it! Great job!

Developer

Yeah thanks, i left balancing to the last minute i really should have capped the speed and made it build up slower, still a fun learning experience!

Wow, definitely captured the essence of the DVD Video screen! Short and sweet, although I think maybe a little too short? I think having it build up a little bit slower at the start and ramping up the velocity a little further in, it'll make it more rewarding to dodge more obstacles before you reach terminal velocity!

Nevertheless, I had fun with this!

Developer

Thanks so much. It was short; I left it all to the last minute. You're right about it needing to build up much slower.

Hm, the movement speed is kind of slow in this one.... OMG! Where am I?! What's happening?! I died?!?!?!??!

Nice little game. It took a moment to get used to controls and character speed, but after that the game offered an enjoyable challenge.

Keep up the good work!

i like the graphics and vibe

Funny idea to picture, everyone you know has seen it somewhere before and the unspoken rule was hoping on the logo hitting the corner perfectly.
I like that it doesn't waste anytime and the text onscreen is something for you to read as a reward for progressing a little further

Developer

Thank you, that idea is where this game came from!

The game visuals are good, but the filter is too strong and makes it difficult to see/play

Little fun mini-game, I liked it.

Pretty interesting game, the visuals are great and sounds too, really fast and intese gameplay!

cool idea! its a little difficult to read the text occasionally though from the chromatic abberations affect.

That was intense man. Reached the terminal velocity!! I was legit avoiding the biscuits at first 😂

Impressive Game, I loved the visual style 😍

Developer

Thank you so much!

Love the concept! It's such a unique idea to have a screen saver as the protagonist, and I love the idea of each biscuit you get increasing your speed. Sadly, I couldn't get too any sort of high speed because it became too hard to control and was very luck centric because the skulls can appear out of nowhere, but really nice job! And I like the music

This is quite an interesting concept. Who would have thought of making a game out of that DVD screen!  Cool graphics and sound. The game is also hard and quite uncontrollable after speed 30-40, and I am not sure if I am doing things correctly, but it felt like dying to the fault fragment is just a matter of luck when it shows. The input, although it's working as intended, still feels strange, both while the DVD icon is slow, where it felt pressing WASD do nothing, and while the DVD icon is fast, where it just goes to another strange direction no matter what you press.

Anyway, kudos for the interesting idea, Good job!

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback, unfrotunatly, I didn't spend enough time testing  which is why the speeds go too high, i usually was just checking the starting was working, so I added in the extra life to make it a bit easier for players. I think doing a similar project i'd cap speed at 30.
