Very creative; Attacking food was hilarious. Great transition from top down to side scroller. Music was tasteful. Found myself trying different combos to see what creatures would get summoned. Well done!
Thank you for playing!
The idea is pretty cool but not sure if it is a bug or something but i dont have anything to choose for the flour ;(
Woah! First I've seen of that. Did it happen after a number of iterations?
Thanks for playing!
Really creative premise for the game! I love the baking aspect and I think it's great how it suddenly turns into a platformer too. I did have a bit of trouble learning how to play; I'm glad I figured it out, but having a short tutorial would be a nice addition! Great work!!
Great suggestions and thank you for the feedback!
Love the idea of cooking eldritch horrors and then having to fight them! With more time I think this idea could work really well, but as it stands the combat is a bit too straightforward, and I didn't really understand what my purpose was once I'd filled Death's bounty. Given that there weren't actually any choices to make for the recipes it felt a bit too linear too.
Love the sprite work though, and again, really fun idea! Nice work!
Thank you for the feedback and for playing! I'm working on an update that opens the game play loop much sooner than the current version.
Help I didn't know how to get out the first room...the only thing I could interact with was the bad fat...the screenshots look so fun I'd love to give this a proper go!
Fat, flour, and spice are tabs. You select butter, then the other tabs to nab a flour and a spice. I hope this helps...
Pretty strange premise of the game, and cooking up the devil is pretty funny in a way.
Having more diversity would definitely spice up the gameplay loop a bit
Thanks for playing, and absolutely agreed on the need for more variety. I am working on an expanded play loop for a post-jam update
increadible that you were able to put all these recipes together in a few days! well played
Thanks for playing!
This game is AMAZINGLY made in such a short period of time, reminds me of that guy that mixes drinks, I played it for almost and hour this can be a really well made game with more polish that would work on steam! I like the sounds the feel it makes the amount of enemies and ingredients. Good job guys, good job!
We appreciate the kind words. Thank you for playing!
Enjoyably cozy game! Could use a better tutorial on how the baking system worked ended up with alot of "Dissapointing Lumps" without really knowing why. All n all fun game! *this game was live reviewed here: twitch.tv/gratefulllyivory (will post vod after stream)
Thanks for playing and streaming!

Great simple game, I really like it. Especially the monster design is amazing! great job.
Thank you!
A very great visual and ambient game. I don't really like the game's vibe, but in a good way. It's creepy, very creepy, me can't sleep no more T^T
Great game! ^^
High praise! Thank you!
At first I thought this was going to be just another boring cooking game, until my cakes started crawling into the kitchen :D. Really a unique idea. I also liked the disappointed icon to show that the dish didn’t work without having to recheck the list to see what i made. Overall, fun and creative game, great job. Hope you can also try out our game and leave some feedback too.
Thank you for the feedback! Playing yours shortly!
awesome and very innovative,
a bit complicated for my taste, it was hard to understand what to do, but with time i got it.
there are just to many possible combination and it feels like no way to infer what the result probably be
and after each bake ingredient spoil by one? and for recepy to succeed it got to be on correct spoilage?
other than that i liked exploring this world discovered many unholy grotesque creatures.
Yes, each bake will age the other ingredients. I am working on adding a power-up system to better manage ingredients and their aging; like fixing up a refrigerator.
As a result of the minimalist UI it is a bit vague at first. I am overhauling some of the presentation and mechanics based on jam feedback. Thanks!
Loved mixing ingredients and interesting turn on the story
Thanks for playing!
A lovely palette of colour, everything feels so delicate and sweet. Unexpected combination of genres as people have mentioned already! The game feels unique.
Thank you! I was hoping to achieve a foreboding but cozy atmosphere
Interesting combination of genres, it was fun to see what would be made! It would be nice the text waited for a click/button before moving on so I had more time to read though. I also liked the artstyle, the UI for the baking screen in particular was really cute. Overall, good job! :)
Thanks for playing!
I thought it's just a lovely and fun baking game, and now i bake a croissant that had a leg, YES A LEG! Pretty execution, i do love each experiment with the ingredient and summon various, ehm bake i mean various pastry. Great game!
I'm glad you enjoyed! I'm working on post-jam updates to fix some bugs and introduce many more interesting pastries.
Cool mix of genres, a bit of cooking sim and a bit of Mario, very like color palette :)
Thank you!
i quite like the visual aesthetic of your game! kinda made me feel cute after playing it for a while which was unexpected. however, the sound effects were a bit on the louder side.
but overall i think the game was pretty good. good job!
Thank you! I've received other observations about the SFX, so I'll definitely be looking into that
