Very fun game with great visuals. I had a problem tho: I found a "mimic door" which required 50 biscuits and I didn't have enough, but I wasn't able to leave the room (pressing S to go back would just reset the same room). Anyway, it's a really well made game, great job!

Interesting little game. But I think I got soft locked. There was a dead end and you could only go back but I could never leave the corner.

Similar to what others have said below, some more feedback on inputs would be good, and clearer navigation. That being said, this is off to a great start with some really compelling aesthetics. I liked your interpretation of the theme; having the biscuits scale the difficulty and heal you was an interesting idea. Nice work for a weekend!

The art is very good and the music sets an eerie mood for the entire game. I found navigating difficult though and couldn't really get a grip on how to move around. Faced one enemy that I barely beat and I would really like to delve deeper into this dungeon if I wasn't hindered by the movement. Really cool that it was made by a single developer.

Thanks for the feedback! Spells are collectables that you choose from. Hiding the spell button before you find any spells sounds like a better idea, and I totally agree with the press effects. It came down to time constraints for that, unfortunately.
Great visuals! And I loved the ambiance track too, it fits well. I loved the idea of monsters smelling the biscuits and being attracted to them! Didn't manage to reach the ending, but I had a lot of fun playing. I feel like it's well polished! Great job

The visuals are stunning and the gameplay is great. Sadly i always ended up with too many buiscuits, i tried multiple times not to take them to avoid crossing too many enemies, but i didn't manage to do it.

Loved the visuals! I was a bit confuse with movement, maybe arrows to click to where to go would be nice, is there an ending or something? Thanks for the experience!

Some walking animations would make this ALLOOT better, but thanks to the map I knew where I was going! Very unique visuals! I hate that wizard though ;-;

Very cool visuals and gameplay experience, I realized that you can change weapons and look at the map after you took damage from enemies and was puzzled how 1 damage is inflicted if you picked up a weapon.

Beautifully constructed game. The assets in this game are really beautiful. You have a serious talent for pixel art.
Overall the game reminds me of the UFO 50 entry Valbrace.

Love the concept! And you executed it really well. Maybe a “flee” option would have been nice to have (I encountered like 3 enemies and the completely roasted me hahah). But great job overall!

Really cool looking game, The sprites looks awesome. The rules of the game could better explained. The way you move feels a bit disorienting sometimes. Maybe replacing WASD keys and just use the mouse for everything like a point and click game could be better. Really cool biscuit difficulty system though! :D Also my game bugged the first time i played it where the monster door sprite kept appearing and it was so confusing lmao.
