The game during early development stages, had a clear protagonist that you play as. And the story was revolved around her life, like any rpg where you take control of a character, and play as them. During late stages, I scrapped that to give a bit more personalization with the nomenclature.
I decided it’s best to keep the pronouns locked as it would be tedious to go back and rewrite a whole lot of the story (which involves the player being female) and it is too much work for a single dev like me, who is also in the midst of college applications and entrance exam hell lol. Maybe some day in the future when I’m done with the female mc route, I’ll introduce an alt route. No promises tho !
