Really cool throwback game, I dig it!
Very reminiscent of early JRPGs for sure and there's a lot to like here.
The pacing's good and the game felt authentic - like it really belonged somewhere in the late eighties.
A sharp difficulty spike midgame threw me off a bit, but other than that it's pretty on point. Minimal handholding; but I could figure out where to go by talking with enough NPCs as was par for the course.
It just needs a little tidy up and fluffing out a bit (mainly late game) but I am going to guess that will be addressed in the final version.
Great game, really enjoyed it :)
