really enjoyed the atmosphere you set up at the start n it made me curious 2 learn more! i found it quite challenging to progress in game with a trackpad lol, though for some moments found that holding the mouse in one spot did the trick! cool submission!

beautiful art woww i also love the cover image a lot lol. Unfortuantely I don't have a mouse so playing this with a trackpad was a ~workout~ and I also think one of the spells might not work on trackpad since I wasn't sure how to simultaneously right and left click :p . But this was a really cool submission n i rly love things that lean experimental! Great job
Oh this was fun! One thing I would have liked would be the ability to vary speed of panning the room but honestly I just may have been too impatient + the restricted movement certainly makes it so that you actually can be worried about waking dave up even early on. I wasn't able to get to the end as I have to head out in a bit but all in all great job with the game and clean art! I especially was a fan of the door whisperer lol.
i'm sooooo sad that I'm unable to play this fully! For some reason it will not pickup my mouse movement and freezes or lags majorly :/ maybe my device is too old. That intro (i refused to sleep) was super chilling and the small bits I was able to witness really had me hooked though. Amazing job putting together this experience and even having a settings menu during a jam!!
I loveeee the art and use of dithering here, super beautiful game! I was really struggling at the start before I realized that the enemies won't attack if the light isn't showing them (the seamless repeat tries def made it so that it didn't take me too long to realize that!). I generally struggle a bit with platforming games especially if they involve using a mouse in addition to keyboard so wonder what it would have been like if the light could be controlled by keyboard instead but that's a p subjective preference! This moth is soo cute :')
Really sick music! I unfortunately kept getting stuck at every level lol but the art and music kept me interested enough to try again! I actually like that there losing health doesn't actually do anything since it got me to try out some more movement and interactions with enemies whenever I got stuck. Curious to see where this goes if you develop it out further!
cool game! I particularly enjoyed the various signs you included that really established an atmosphere for me. I'm generally not great at platforming so appreciated how forgiving this was to mistakes! One thing that made the gameplay a little difficult for me though was the camera movement as it made me feel a little dizzy,,, but i'm also just generally pretty sensitive to things like that :p
oh i love how relatable this concept is! really cute idea and fitting color choice~ I think my favorite level was the one where the tv wasn't on the ground since it made me think of how wacky/surreal future levels could get ^^. I could see this being expanded on with more obstacles/movement , great job!
Really cute customer sprites :). Overall I had fun playing this and trying to match the right movie to the right customer! I think there might have been some bug at some point (or maybe i misclicked?) where two customers went away after interacting with one but maybe that's intentional? Also, as a heads up I think when I fullscreen the button to get out of the movie selection screen gets cut off. After realizing this and minimizing, I was able to play through the game without issue though! Great job being able to fit in so much stuff (like upgrades, selling, bills, etc) in the span of this jam!
got the time 8:25! I love collecting and sorting things so this game got me good haha. I definitely was a bit cocky at the start before i realized how many rows of stamps there were in the book and had to lock in xD. Really fun and the voice lines + music really added to it , thanks for the experience!
Pretty cool concept, and I like how ya'll implemented time as a resource! I think I would have benefited from having a little more time or easier way to see what items are interactable/what the current goal is (a little more handholding) but even without I thought the atmosphere and feeling of urgency made for a good gameplay experience! The art/creature are also really cool, great job!
Really interesting battle mechanic! Honestly a bit difficult for me, but there were moments where I felt I was doing alright and that was p rewarding. I found the visuals and audio to also be really cohesive :D. Also great job including some tutorial context at the start (I feel like it's so hard to make time for that during jams).
I'm a big fan of solitaire so appreciate this twist on the game! Personally I felt like the fishing was a little difficult so took away some of my enjoyment, but it also def added a higher stakes feeling to picking up a card which I could see being a lot of fun with some tweaking! Also, was surprised when I noticed I could drop cards back into the ocean (by accident), curious what motivated that decision! Overall though, really interesting idea~ great job!
played twice because my first run was horrendous, 2nd time around got to the 11th battle! the visual style of the game is super fun and i like all the enemy designs~ i did find myself wishing I could also come across new skills to replace the ones i didn't want to use, but maybe this way I'm forced to try out mechanics i wouldn't otherwise haha. Great job with this!
Oh the art and animations are amazingly polished! Makes me want to get better at pixel art lol, anyway i had fun playing! I do enjoy beat'em ups and thought that the strong attack was pretty satisfying here. Also think the concept is fun and leaves me curious about what the deal with the fish and shoes are haha
That's a good point on the audio cutting mama talking, definitely was flip-flopping towards the end on whether it added to the unsettling vibe or if it just seemed unintentional and ended up leaving it as is haha.
And thank you for playing!! This jam was a way to prototype a small part of a bigger project actually so do hope 2 ~flesh~ things out in the future :)
Really beautiful colors and minimalist styling! I'm a huge fan of unlocking shortcuts/checkpoints so had a lot of fun walking around with that objective. Ended up getting stuck at a battle sequence (maybe i needed more than a gun? or maybe skill issue on my part lol). I did find myself wishing I could run or see an overall map at times but still enjoyed playing!
This is lovely, it had me thinking about the way people are always "brainwashing" AI and trying to control its output for capital/social gains. While I still think AI is just a big statistical model so maybe not in need of the same autonomy as a human it's still super uncomfortable to see it being forced into everything by bigtech and constantly reprogrammed/restrained to essentially replace human experiences... so then having the player play from that perspective really hits on that for me! Anyway, thought ppt format was super creative, and the art + washed out color scheme also felt really in-line with the theme. Also the body horror descriptions were cool ~ Great job!
art is really fun, i'm a big fan of the bar wallpaper and all the characters in particular! I could see in the future the manager providing more of a narrative framework for the game as well but for the existing game I found the drink mixing to be satisfying~ Great job :D , I'll have to check out Wasteland Bites, it looks real cool too.
