I get stuck at the drawer with the picture in it. It doesn't register as finished, so when I'm pulled back, that arrow still remains at the drawer, and I can't continue the game. That paper I picked up on the drawer, reappears when I click the left mouse button. Any ideas?

@ PackDevGames,

As you have given me [and countless others] the joy of playing/recording/youtubing your game, of course, feel free to do whatever you deem sensible to promote your game.

I'd be humbled and honored by it :o]

Thanks for asking. The most honorable thing to do!

Be yourself, or be someone else? Given a choice, I'd rather be myself, but in this game you don't have a choice, thus have no option but to go along with what the game wants you to do, and move along in various, rotting body parts.

SD delivers another solid game, as was to be expected given his track record :o]

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

I was glad to find out that:

1) - sweeping was done in 1 swoop

2) - customers came in fast

3) the game lasted almost 15 minutes [in my case], but felt much faster to play [aka, having fun playing it]

So, overall, a great game :o]

I didn't really understand this game, but despite that, I managed to finish it in 1 piece :o]

Lucky me!

Thanks for your reply. Will try again later today, after work :o]

I ran into a bug. After dropping off package 2 [room A12] it still said I had to drop off the package at room A12. I couldn't continue playing that game. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :o]

Pros: great graphics, nice idea [story], liked the sounds to build  up tension.

Cons: the time it took to pick up gear. That's the reason I sped it up.

Relationships are the most difficult things for a human being to maintain. This game digs deep into the harshness of failure and delivers the outcome with  a bang.

I wanted to run outside, but I couldn't, so I got killed.

I'm a 1-ending guy, so I quit after getting killed. I was trying to escape, but my wife called LOL!

I also saw om Boogadoo Games' clip the 2 other endings: 1) Running our of the front door, and 2) picking up a kitchen knife and stabbing the perp.

I hadn't figured that out :o]

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

I tried, but I didn't make it. I got 1 ending. The crushed one :o]

Thank you! :o]

I couldn't finish this game no matter what I tried to do. After the phone call [why no restore point here? Why having to start all over again?] the guy got me every time. After several tries I just gave up.

Cons: Right off the bat: you added a copyrighted song to the game - 'Hall of the Mountain King' - by Kevin MacLeod.

In my case youtube flagged it.

As to the game, it works without any sense [indication] of direction, so it might throw of some people [not me].

Pros: The story is tight and flows well. The transitions from one movement/segment to the next are flawless. The textures are rich and elevate the game to a feast for the eyes. So, in all, well done.

So, we have a doll, do we? I'm not good at playing with dolls, so I did what came natural: I doused the flames with it.

Yes, I'm evil incarnated

Here's a picture of me when I was a baby vampire :(-

And here's one when I became an adult :(=

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

First I went in the wrong direction [going outside]. Restarted [including recording], but in the end glitched out [I guess].

You mentioned your game engine had crashed and that you couldn't finish this game properly, so thanks for the heads-up :o]

Finally a game that doesn't use every cheap trick in the book to create tension. The fact that light itself makes evil go away while bringing it closer, is a brilliant concept, that elevates the game to a level that makes it stand tall amongst other great games.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

5-star rating. Well deserved!

For whatever reason, I had a lot of trouble downloading this game, but finally managed to reel it in, and as it turned out, it was all worth the trouble.

Great game, with great graphics and enticing puzzle elements that elevated the game from 'OK' to a 'WOW!!!' factor.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

Finally a game that allowed me to choose my own destiny: freedom it was :o]

I had to cut this one up into 4 parts, because it would be a shame to do it in 1 go. I even designed a good looking image to go along with it, because this game deserves nothing but the best, as it give me/us nothing but the best. A compelling story that weaves in and out of reality and the surreal, without missing a beat.

A big thumbs up and a 5 star rating!

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

A well executed game, with great graphics, and a compelling story to boot. One that immerses any player [including you] into a world of loss and horror. Where walls tell stories and shadows whisper them. The only question remaining: will you get to mother or will mother get to you...? Well done and a well-deserved 5 star rating!

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

Wonderfully executed game. Stunning graphics and the horror well dosed. It's nice to have choices in games, and that's exactly what you provided. Therefore, you have fully deserved a 5 star rating. Well done!

What a very refreshing game to play. So refreshing that I spent quite some time getting the right image for it, but it deserved one. I <3 games with puzzle elements in them, so this was all right up my wheelhouse :o]

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

Hey, guys.

When you make nice games, you get nice comments. I know it is very hard to make games to begin with, so many thanks for making new ones!

I'm downloading the game as I write this.

I thought I'd keep on closing windows and lock the front door, even after the news said everything was A-OK. As I don't really trust the news anyway, it would've been nice that those [like myself] who made sure they'd be safe, would survive and those who don't, die.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

I enjoyed playing you guys' game.

Because it is a horror game I expected something to come at me or after me, and I think it was the latter, but I didn't look back, just kept going.

Positive note: I survived the game :o]

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

Get some metal scrap to fix your crashed space ship. Sounds easy, doesn't it? But is it? Only one way to find out, play the damned game! :o]

This DEMO was a pleasure to play. Stunning graphics, well thought out intro to the rest of the game and a well executed progressive storytelling. Nothing but thumbs up!

Taking care of a dog that turns out to be a worm, and one with a mind of its own. Needless to say, the little bugger wants a life of its own. The question is: will you assist in him/her getting it?

I was sure I was going to die, but as I'm a 1-ending guy I don't know what the other ending is. It was a fun game to play, but I speeded some things up, to keep it interesting for [possible] viewers.

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

@ Zibrulyaa,

It is through making mistakes we [both you and I] learn to move forward and not make them again [as I have made many myself].

I sincerely appreciate you making a game, because I have friends that make them as well, so I know how much time and effort goes into creating them.

I hope you see my comments as an attempt to assist you in growing and improving yourself as a creator/developer, not merely criticize you, as that would be an insult, and that's the last thing on my mind :o]

Given the fact that the:

  • Smallest oil lamp: A tiny survival oil lamp (like the UCO Micro Candle Lantern) burns ~3 hours.
  • Largest oil lamp: Lighthouse oil lamps (like those using whale oil or kerosene) could burn for weeks with refills.

having a lamp that burns out every 20 seconds makes this game a chore to play. In my case, before I died, I did have oil but the lamp wouldn't be lit up.

I sincerely hope you improve the gameplay itself, otherwise you get a lot of negative feedback and that won't help you in growing into something bigger.

I'm sure you have the talent, but also hope you listen to players giving you feedback.

I trust in you guys to deliver! :o]

Regardless, well done! :o] A good story and puzzles in a game, I'm a sucker for those things.

Comments below clip:

Many people go missing [worldwide], but it becomes especially harrowing, when one of them is your child [daughter in this case]. So, naturally, any father [or mother] has no choice but to step up to the plate and start looking for the missing child.

However, in this case, something way more sinister is going on, as there are people [and monsters] behind this disappearance. By solving puzzles [one of my favorite passings of time], putting 1 + 1 together, and moving forward, the player slowly [but surely] unravels a mystery. This being a DEMO, one's left with a hunger for more, and that's the most positive thing I bring to the table about this game.

From the first second to the last a player is deeply immersed in a horrifying world of dread, death and dreariness.

5 star rating, well-deserved!

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.

It is truly amazing how much bang for a virtual buck you get, with a 34 MB game. The graphics are simply stunning. The story line gripping and the end, well, to find out what happens then, play the game or watch any of the youtubers on this page :o]

I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.
