Trout – dark green water and fish

Trout also lives in its own pond. The water is green here. Excellent water. Perfect. To do all its business here. To swim. To sleep. To do whatever. The pond is large. With branches off in different directions. It's more fun to swim here. The sand is very soft. You just sink into it. It's easy to bury yourself in it. And there's nothing else there. Just clean sand.

The trout swims around and thinks about all sorts of things. About computer games, magazines with pretty pictures, about songs and records, about funny cartridges. The fish have many hobbies in their fish world. Burying yourself in the sand is also fun. It's so soft. You just bury yourself in there, up to your eyes, and just sit there. Waiting for who knows what. But it's fun. That's how the fish spends its days.


This is the world of fish. Trout live here. They swim. They flap their fins. They swim and dive deeper. It's not that deep. Just perfect for such a fish. It rises higher. The water here is dark green. Everything around is the same. And you can swim into the portal to visit other fish. There's already a common space there for a wide variety of fish. And a wide variety of water. And a river. And the sea. And clear, transparent water. And all sorts of different types and shades of water. The main thing is to set up the portal and swim in.

There are many friends there. You can swim in the sea. The sea is an amazing thing. There's much more water there than in the pond. And much deeper. Down below, the water is already black. But the trout don't dive there. They swim in their own depths. There are many interesting things here.

And there's also clear water. With corals. A beautiful place. There are many rivers. And many other lakes and ponds. Lots of friends swimming there. There's always someone to talk to. And play with. And this is this fish's home. There's no one else here. And the fish swims here peacefully. Drinks tea. Plays a video game. Studies. Relaxes. Lots to do. Trout can also stir up sand from the bottom with their fins. It's fun. They flap their fins and their tail. And the sand rises from the bottom. And they scratch their backs as it settles. To shake it off, just rise higher and swim faster.

A steppe ferret on a bright day

A steppe ferret on a bright day. The sun is outside. Everything is dawning. And it's bright. And so beautiful. It's like every day is a holiday. The grass is bright. Even brighter in the sun. And even more delicious. Sand and earth. Everything is so interesting. The day is coming. The daylight is increasing. And now there will be more sun. This is a great joy for the ferret.

The ferret walks through the grass. And there is still grass. And sometimes the grass is thick, and sometimes not. He walks carefully. And looks around. Now it will soon be summer. He can bask in the sun. And think about those dreams he had. Although now the bright day drives all dreams away. Only the sun and daytime activity.

What else can he think about? He can walk to the river. Drink from the stream. Watch the sun play with the water's surface. The pond is alive. The water gurgles. And there are pebbles there. He can run across them to the other side. And there is a field and grass again. Hills. But not high ones.

The ferret walks slowly. He checks every bush. Under some of them, there are beautiful stones. All sorts. White ones. Black ones. Some the color of asphalt. Everything is interesting. The ferret collects them for his collection.

The ferret knows these places well. And soon, summer will come again. Again, days of fun. The ferret has been waiting for such days for a long time. And he makes his way to the river. The ferret has a wooden house on the other side. There, he will rest. And run along the hills. These hills are covered with all sorts of grass. The ferret can also dig holes in the sand. Or in soft soil. And plant flowers and grass. He actively does this too.

The sun shines brightly and warmly. A fresh breeze blows through his fur. It creates such a pleasant sensation. Someone needs to scratch you. It's truly the best day. And yet, it's only spring. And summer is still ahead. Just think, the ferret still has a whole summer ahead of him.

The ferret has already seen the birds. They're all here. I'll have to visit them and talk to them. Summer's coming! Plenty of grass. And the ferret moves on and on. Heading toward a familiar river. And there's a house there. And an owl lives there in a tree. But the owl won't wake up until evening. When the sun sets.

The ferret is in a great mood today and always. The brightest day. And every day is like that. Bright sun. Bright day. Sun in your eyes. Look away. And everything is orange. And then you see everything in bright light. Now it will be like this every day. The river is already babbling nearby. The ferret carefully pushes aside the grass. And moves toward the river.

Panda Ant – Walking Through a Field

Panda Ant is making his way through the grass. It rained this morning. And there are lots of drops of water. He can drink them. The water is delicious. And the grass is green. He can eat. Panda Ant often comes here. He's a builder. He loves to build things. Out of sticks. For example, he can build a house.

Just a couple of days ago, he finished making a house for a mole. The mole always digs the earth and lives underground. Now the mole will have a house above ground, too. Panda Ant built a tea house before this. For all the animals in this forest. And in the field. In the grass. You can come and have tea. Rabbit always makes new tea. He's always running around here. And making tea.

Panda Ant loves walking through the grass. Beautiful sky. Interesting earth. Everything is so fresh. After the rain. Fresh air. And soon there will be a warm summer day. It will be hot. It's very fresh now and so nice. There's a breeze blowing. The panda ant is walking along its path. A path across the edge of a field. There's a place with more grass. And there's a place with less grass. The grass is green. Just like the rabbit's green tea. I wonder if it's a coincidence or not. I can't find the time to ask the rabbit about it.  

The ant is also thinking about making a path here. So he can see where he's going. Put some sticks here. And make a path. Otherwise, walking through the grass feels like walking through a forest. Sometimes a chicken wanders here. Just like I told you. Of course, it's okay. It's a field.  

The ant has many friends, other ants. They live in a city. An anthill. There are many, many houses there. Many stories. Lots of ants live here. The city is also interesting. They have a TV and a radio there. But when you go far into the field, the signal weakens.  

The ant is walking. There's a stream far away. With fish. And then the forest. In the forest live wood ants. There are fir trees there. And it's so nice when the sunlight falls from the branches. There are lots of branches on the ground. From fir trees. A wonderful place. There will be another city there.

The ant walks along and rejoices. What a beautiful day today. How nice everything is. The sun and summer. And he's already seen many other kind little animals. His friends. Everything is nice here. The ant is fluffy. He likes being so fluffy. This makes him very different from other ants. Ants are kind and cheerful. And they even build cities.

The ant walks along, here's a blade of grass. Here's another one. You can climb it. And how to look from above. But the view is usually the same. Only sometimes you can see a chick running like a hurricane across the entire field. He's lost here again. Or he's just playing. You can't understand him. But he's cheerful. He always runs to the river later.

Whitefish – so much space for a fish!

Whitefish live in a pond. The water is dark here. A little blue. The sky is reflected right in the water. It's very beautiful when you surface higher. The deeper water is darker. And the bottom is cooler. This is especially valuable on a hot day. It's usually just a nice summer here.  

The fish has a lot to do. It needs to swim here and there. The water is so pleasant. And good. Simply excellent water here. Swimming is perfect. The bottom is clean sand. No branches or anything else. It's very pleasant to scrape your belly on the sand.  

The water is like an ocean. So clean. And free. Swim in all directions. Water is everywhere. Dense. And nothing gets in the way. This fish is very happy. This is not a pond, but an entire ocean. Considering there are passages to other similar bodies of water. And so it turns out. And further on – it really is an entire ocean. Only this is a pond. The largest pond in all the worlds.

Other fish come to visit. Having lots of friends is always fun. You can all swim together. Discuss the news. Talk about all sorts of things. And swim to the bottom. And sit there and drink tea. Play video games. Listen to music. The fish has so many new things at the bottom. He can't even figure it all out.

Fish often watch all these things. Movies, music, computer games. There's a whole treasure trove here. A whole pond dedicated to this topic. And all the other ponds are so clear. And you can swim wherever you want. Water. Just water in all directions. And nothing gets in the way.

The water is simply perfect. Like the sea. But not so big. And there are many, many ponds like this. And then one huge pond. This is the world of the whitefish. The fish live here. And swim. Wag their tails. Wave their fins. Everything is fine with the fish.

And most importantly, it's not boring. Lots of friends always come to visit. There's a pond called "All Friends' Pond." There's a pond of silence. You can be alone there if you want. And the whitefish hasn't even figured out what all the other fish are for. The fish live in one pond. And they swim everywhere. It's great to have so much space!

The gopher has a whole summer ahead of him!

The grass is already growing. Almost summer. The gopher crawled out of his hole. He woke up. He shook himself. And looked around. That's the first thing you should do. When you've just woken up. And it's spring all around. And you slept until the warmest spring. Almost until summer. He slept well. He woke up happily. The sun was shining. And the grass was green. Beautiful! The gopher even stared.

A whole summer of fun lies ahead. And joy. Many more days like this lie ahead. He woke up. He looked around. And stared. It's like this almost every day. What a wonderful summer. Everything is green. And so delicious. The water in the river is flowing. So refreshing. It might still be a bit chilly for a swim.

There are no grasshoppers yet. The gopher often listens to them. They are excellent musicians. They will come here later. While it's summer here. Or they will grow up. And that's how it happens. While they are still small and just mastering music. The gopher will now slowly walk. And stretch his legs. He slept well. And had many good dreams. But the gopher has already forgotten some dreams. And he remembers others. He sometimes writes them down. Everything he dreamed. Whole stories emerge. Gopher dreams. He writes them down every year. Until autumn.

Then the gopher will run through the grass. All the way to the river. And drink some water. It's very refreshing. But he won't be running in the water for now. It's a bit chilly. His friends, the birds, are somewhere around here. He should find them. Ask them how they arrived. What they've been doing.

He should look for beetles. They're also somewhere around here. They've also been busy with their own affairs for a while. The gopher will also check on the frogs by the swamp. After all, he only just woke up. And everything seems so new and interesting to him. While everyone else has long since been busy with their own affairs. That's the kind of gopher he is.

But that's okay. The gopher will soon start doing his own thing too. He has a house here. Made of wood. He'll build a dam with the beaver. He'll build his own house. He has a lot to do. He'll tend to the garden every day. The garden is big. The bunny will come to plant carrots in the field. The gopher also helps the bunny. He needs to look after the carrots. They'll grow a lot. He needs to fix the cart. He needs to check how the apple trees are growing in the garden. It's far away. But the gopher also watches over them.

And then he can play with other kind little animals. There are many worlds here with kind little animals. All different. The gopher falls asleep. Some go to other worlds. Where it's always summer. And here it's just a shortcut. It's good to sleep in the hole. Nothing matters. The gopher is now remembering all his summer chores. There's a whole summer ahead! Sunshine! And joy!

Mountain snail – among the mountain houses

Even in the mountains, our friends live. Kind little animals. For example, the mountain snail. In the mountains, there's room for forests. And meadows. Plenty of juicy, tasty grass. You can crawl there almost endlessly. It's quite unusual in the mountains. But on the other hand, there's the same forest and field. All of that is there too. And mountain snails live there.

Here in the mountains, flowers grow that don't exist in lower elevations. There's plenty of tasty grass here. The snail crawls everywhere. The snail has many friends. Other mountain snails. And the sun is closer here. More than in others. High up, the air is clean and fresh. It's pleasant to breathe. There are many climbs and descents. And entire forests are hidden between the mountains. And lots of meadows. It's a wonderful place!

The snail has houses here. In the forest. In the mountains and in the meadows. There's plenty of space here. You can put some leaves in reserve. The snail does just that. There's a little room in the house for leaves. You can drink tea with them. And eat. The snail knows a place where incredibly tasty leaves grow. She goes there once a month.

And even closer to the forest, delicious dark green grass grows. When you spend a lot of time in the meadow, you want to spend some time in the shade. In the wooden house, there's a little room for just such grass. Excellent tea. And a great treat for the whole day. Here in the wooden house, the snail has a place to watch TV. And play Dendy 8-bit.

The snail crawls between its houses. Back and forth. The distance is great. And then it looks for new interesting places. There's still so much to explore here. The snail also sees different stones here. And sketches them. The snail is interested in stones. And simply sketches them. And makes a map. Where each stone is. Maybe it means something.

Drops of water after rain are always useful. They are very refreshing. So, I plucked some water from a leaf. And you feel refreshed on a hot day. And you hide in the grass. And you sit and rest. Sometimes the snail spends entire days in the open air. And then it goes back to its nest. The snail has a lot to do.

Smelt – a fish in a green pond

Smelt lives in a pond. It's a cheerful pond. With greenish water. Sand. And algae. Usually, everything is green here. And the smelt knows this place well. There's a pond here. And it's big. Really big. And there are places where you can swim somewhere else. A whole corridor from which you can get to all sorts of places. A river. A lake.

And underground passages. Filled with water. There are even more places to visit. And including swimming to visit other fish. Smelt often swim to pike and carp. The water is full of algae. And the food always seems to float by itself. It's convenient. Other fish don't have this. They are very surprised when they come to visit. It's a unique place in its own way.

The water here is excellent. The pay is good. This is the fish's home. Its very own home. The fish, though small, loves to swim everywhere. And it swims a lot. Everything is overgrown with algae. Even the surface. And the bottom. It's quite cozy here. And if you want, you can swim through the underground passage—anywhere. For example, into the lake with blue water. The water there is slightly different. And the lake is huge. It probably even seems endless.

The smelt fish also swims around a lot. It's great to chat with the other fish and find out what's new. With one fish, you can play Dendy. With another, you can see the wonders of Super Nintendo. And there's also a smart fish that is learning computer technology. That's amazing! One day, the smelt fish will go to school too. But for now, she'll play Dendy.

The pond is nice and interesting. The fish lives here. In a house. A house made of sand. And there are many rooms there. Big and small. There's even room for a Dendy console. The fish creates new rooms out of the sand from time to time. This used to be a shore. And now the fish is digging inside the room. The sand is easy to dig in. And it's quite hard. It holds its shape well.

The fish may be small, but it has a lot of space here. Lots of rooms. And lots of friends. Other fish. And also a platypus. The fish made friends with him in one of the other worlds. He also has a whole water world. Only there's grass and a surface there.

This world should have a surface too. But the fish knows nothing about it. It swims around in the water. The platypus promised to come over someday. And see what's on the surface and tell us. And for now, the fish swims around. And waits for his favorite TV series to start. On fish TV.

A forest snail – along forest paths

In the forest, in the shade of the trees. Where there's earth. And branches. That's where the forest snail lives and crawls. Crawls peacefully. Among the earth. And under tall trees. It's not always as light here as in a field. Or in a meadow.

The forest is cool. And quite cozy. You can rest peacefully here under a tree, right in the shade. Or even sleep. Earth. There's plenty of earth here. Fresh earth. So delicious. The smell of freshness comes straight from the earth. Sometimes grass grows on the sides.

There are ferns. You can climb them. Here and there, there's a gap, and it's not so dark. Sometimes the light falls from above, very beautifully. When the forest is not dense. The main thing is to follow the path. And there will be an exit from the forest. And there will be more sun. At first, there are gaps. And then the sun will shine fully. Quite a journey.

The forest is quiet and fresh. And often dark. Everything is in the shade. Because there are always a lot of tall trees around. There are clearings. There are gaps. The forest is also different. Now a snail is crawling. From a dark place. And yesterday the snail was in a sunny clearing. Even grass grows there. Then the snail was where the ferns grow.

The snail is traveling through this forest. Who else but a snail can explore everything here? There is a forest. It's big. There are lighter places. There are darker places. And the snail can crawl everywhere. It moves leisurely. To see everything. And remember. To sketch a map. To make pictures. To make sketches. Then the snail will show it all. To its kind animal friends. To the elephant. To the beetles. To other snails.

The snail has a briefcase. And a whole shell. In which there are tons of useful things. Forests can be different. Coniferous, for example. Lots of small sticks from fir trees. There are lots of them. They are fluffy. Ticklish. And there's a forest where there's just dirt. There's a place where mushrooms grow and branches rot. Fallen from above. It can be damp here, too. A forest snail can see all this.

When you spend a lot of time in the dark. All day long. And it's so cool to crawl out into the light. Look at the sun. And talk to the kind little animals. Show them your drawings. And show them your new piece of the map. The elephant and the mole fold these drawings. And they fasten it all together into one very large map.

 

There's a snail seen a place. Pleasant moss grows everywhere. And there's even sunshine there. Green moss. And everything grows. Such soft moss. And there's also a place where fallen leaves lie. And there are mushrooms there. A beautiful place. Yes, the snail knows that the forest leads to another world. Where there's an autumn forest. A very beautiful autumn forest. It's incredible!

The snail knows all about it. The snail crawls along the ground like this. In the forest. And looks around. It's always quiet here in this forest. It's such a world of silence. Even when it's raining from above. You can hide under a fir tree. And it'll be dry.

Sunny and bright spots. There are plenty of those here, too. The descent into shade can be gradual. Like walking along a path. Paths are everything between the trees. And gradually it gets darker or lighter. The snail knows this forest well. Sometimes by a fallen log. Where the moss grows. The snail sees other forest snails. This is their place. Where they meet. They drink tea. Lots of delicious things grow there. And there is shade. The forest snail walks along the forest paths like this. An explorer of the forest. And shows everything to its friends in the field and garden.

A grape snail is in a great place.

A grape snail crawls through the plants. Grass. Leaves. Earth. Dry branches. Anything will do. The snail moves. There's a delicious leaf growing up ahead. So said the beetle. The snail is almost there. Delicious green leaves. Delicious, juicy green. Perfect sunshine. But here in the grass, it's not as strong.

This is good for the grape snail. It can even be dark in the grass. You can sleep here. Or find a dark, cozy spot. And then go to where it's lighter. And move forward. Towards the juicy leaves. It's so delicious. And then there are sunny spots. The light falls beautifully from above. And passes through the grass. Right here. The sunniest spots are also here. Sunbeams live here.

It's a kind of greeting from the sun. Which lives up there. High up. And it smiles. It has many arms. It happens after the rain in the morning. More drops of water. Delicious cool water. A very pleasant bonus on the way to the leaves.

It was right here on this path that the snail met a beetle. They became good friends. And there's also a colorful beetle here. A ladybug. A beetle with a red back and black dots. A very cheerful beetle.

While crawling, you can enjoy fallen grapes or strawberries. There's a field of these plants just past here. Very tasty things. Incredibly tasty. And juicy. Other snails live there too. All sorts. They say that by the river even further from here. Snails live there too. All sorts of species.

The sun is shining. Rain in the morning. And lots of greenery. It's an incredibly beautiful place. And it's always nice here. Lots of friends. Strawberries come in both green and red. Lots of other things grow there too. Lettuce leaves. Flowers. Beetles are flying around above. Beetles that can fly. And bees. Some striped flies. These are some kind of bees.

A snail crawls here every day. It looks at the ground. It's fun to move along the ground. You might even meet an earthworm. It sometimes comes to the surface. Say hello from the mole. You can see the mole. It digs whole holes. It's smart.

A snail crawls here. And it enjoys every sunny day. It's always a beautiful day here. The most summery and the sunniest. A great place. With lots of friends and delicious food.

A carp in a murky pond

Today's 3D scene is about a carp. It's still a small fish. It's still learning. And it swims. In its pond. The pond is large and varied. The carp lives in murky water. There are some plants growing underneath, like sticks. The water here is yellow. And the carp itself is a similar color. No one sees it here. And there's no one else here except it.

This is its home. This is the entire pond. And the neighboring one. The water there is clear. Lake and river. Everything for the carp. So it can swim and grow. And it's already used to being here. Here you can bury yourself in the sand. Scratch your back and fin on the sand or dry branches. Those are probably algae. The carp keeps trying to guess what kind of packs these are.


The carp swims calmly and leisurely. The water here is murky. There's a lot of sand in it, and this is still water. And there's a lake there. And lots of clear light. And then there's the river. You can build houses in the sand. And there are plenty of them here. The carp have already built everything here.

The carp is a kind and good fish. It swims. And it likes to swim. It knows many friends of other fish. Other carp, for example. They can build sand castles together. This is especially easy to do in still water. And the houses and sand castles will remain just that, especially if you reinforce them with sticks.


When the sand gets boring, there's a river and a lake. The water there is different. Clean. And you can swim there as much as you like. There's plenty of space. But this is the carp's favorite place. The fish loves to hang out here and spends a lot of time.

The carp knows about other fish too. They come from the river. They include pike, perch, and others. There's even a crab here. But the other fish have never seen a crab. And the carp can swim to the surface. To the upper part of the water. But there's nothing interesting there.

It's a quiet and pleasant place. The carp's home. And he has many friends.

Squirrel – Branches and Wind

A squirrel is sitting in a tree. What a wonderful tree. It's so interesting to sit up there. There are so many fluffy branches. They're thick, and you can sleep or sit right there. You're sitting so high up. And there are so many tiers. Sometimes you don't know how high you are. Just look to the side. Sometimes you see how high you are. And sometimes you just jump to the ground and run on.  

The squirrel loves fir trees. And jumping from branch to branch. There are so many levels in the forest. Everything for the squirrel. The squirrel sometimes sees nuts and pine cones here. It's all delicious. Birds come flying in. They're all great friends, too. You can talk to them about everything. They fly everywhere and know so much. Birds have a broad outlook. And the squirrel is a musician.

The branches are green. And there are lots of squirrel houses here. And the birds have houses too. So there's a whole city up there. Plenty of places to run and jump. And then you can come down to the ground. And run through the field and forest. And then climb the tree again. And look around. From the very top. And take in everything around. And get your bearings. Forests can be large and dense. Meadows can be large. But you climb a tree and see where you need to run.

In the field there's a good friend – a bunny. And a gray rabbit. But they live in the meadow. Where the meadow is. And here there's both the forest and the meadow. It's a slightly different place. These are the homes of the birds and the squirrel. So many worlds. Good and kind little animals live in them all. They're all doing something interesting.

The squirrel loves to jump and is good at it. You can jump along the tops of the fir trees too. And quickly get over all the obstacles that were on the surface. It's very convenient. Sometimes the squirrel surprises its friends. How quickly it appears. And all because it runs along the tops of the trees. For example. The mole is always surprised by how quickly the squirrel appears. The mole lives mostly underground.

The squirrel can rest on the branches. You can swing from them. A breeze can blow. It's a nice one from above. And sometimes there's a strong wind. And the branches sway, too. And you can even fall asleep. The branches are wide. And you can get carried away there in a very comfortable way. So, after sleeping, he woke up. He looked around. And then he went to his friend.

A Gray Rabbit in a Summer Land

A gray rabbit came to a clearing. He hadn't been here for a long time. He's here for the whole summer now. It's a wonderful meadow. Green. And the sun is shining brightly. Plenty of grass. You can wander wherever you want. The gray rabbit is here now. Beautiful grass. There's so much of it that it's impossible to count it. And there's no need to count it. There's so much of it here. The rabbit is sitting in the grass. He's settled comfortably. And now he's resting.

There's a wonderful sky here. Have a wonderful summer day. The gray rabbit will be here for the whole summer now. He's come to this land. An endless field. A huge meadow. And hills beyond that. Green hills you can run and jump on. The rabbit hasn't seen anyone here yet. But there must be someone else here. One of the good little animals. He knows it. Almost certainly.

The grass is wonderful. After the rain. The freshest. And now it's very warm and sunny. A wonderful summer day. In general, the rabbit could stay here forever if he wanted. But for now, he's thinking about staying here for the summer! And then he'll see some other interesting places. The rabbit saw the most beautiful autumn forest. It was still warm there. And beautiful leaves everywhere. But most of all, the rabbit likes to be here. In this meadow.

There are hills there. Lots of them. Big ones and small ones. Some are big, but with a slight slope. It's comfortable to run on them. And sometimes you can barely even notice how the hill rises upward. And from there, you can see more hills just like it. Beyond the hills, there's a small river. With refreshing water. And the rabbit hasn't looked beyond that yet. At first glance, from the hill, there's a large field. Just like this one. All the way to the horizon.

It rains here. Usually, at night, a light rain drizzles the entire field. And all the greenery. And in the morning, it's very fresh. Then comes the brightest, most summery day. The rabbit knows part of this place. But he doesn't know what lies beyond. This is truly summer land.

An artifact awakens zombies

Today's 3D scene is based on zombies. I'm mastering the game engine. And trying to learn how to make zombies. Here are my first attempts. The zombies turned out. The meat texture is used here. It's like a tip from the internet. Something like the game Doom. But in its own way.

And this is my 3D scene about zombies. A strange artifact turned something on. There was a strong glow for literally a minute. And it passed through the entire building. It's a huge complex. It passed through the walls. And then they appeared.

The architecture is dark. Pillars. And rooms. The room seemed empty. And now zombies have appeared. We need to unravel the secret of the artifact. As soon as possible. Why it awakened the dead. Cubic rooms. Everything is gray. In the shadows. Light coming from far away. And the living dead. The artifact awakened them.

Plains of Limits

Today's pixel art is based on the Super Nintendo video game Lagoon. An adventure from the early days of the console. Something like MS DOS. Adventure and role-playing. A whole world lies before us. Mountains. Plains. Sand. Grass. Water. Rivers. Streams. All of this to explore!

And this is my drawing based on Lagoon (MS DOS). You're making your way through the mountains. And here is a deserted land. A cool stream. The air in the mountains is cold. And few people come here. This is a wild land. You can encounter werewolves here at night. And packs of wild wolves during the day.

 

You've been walking for two days now. There should be a passage here. There should be a path further in the mountains. But you can't see it yet. Is another night in the mountains really ahead? Of course, for an adventurer, this is commonplace. But here it is. You're a hero. A level one hero. And it's quite dangerous here. You need to find that path quickly before it gets dark. And move through the rocky mountain range. And descend.

There you will see magical green fields. And a unicorn. After the rain. So you were told. But it's most likely a joke. You hold an important message in your hands. From a mage of the utmost limit. Swamp World

Today's pixel art is based on the Super Nintendo video game Tales of Phantasia. A stunningly beautiful adventure. Into a fantasy world. Where, like forgotten kingdoms, ancient secrets are kept.

And this is my drawing based on Tales of Phantasia (SNES). Today I drew something I think is in the spirit of an action RPG. Or like the MSX2 game Knightmare. Or like these plains with monsters and treasures. Or how the screen moves forward like an arcade game. And you see monsters and treasures. And as you move from screen to screen, you see what the developers have in store for you next.

In the Swamp World. Monsters have appeared. They are skeletons. And swamp dwellers. Zombies. They have settled there. And you leave your village area. There, further on, is a swamp. And zombies. And skeletons. Collect chests and bags. They will give you useful game points and useful items. Which you'll later check in your inventory.

You'll see sorcerers who aren't as stupid as zombies and skeletons. And you'll be able to find magical amulets of the elements, which will help you cope with the invasion of the dark forces.

In the Sorcerer's Valley

Today's 3D scene is based on the 3D landscapes from Might and Magic 6. I remember spending so much time in that RPG. I absolutely loved those low-poly landscapes and sprite trees. I spent hours in dungeons there. Today I learned a bit about Blender. And I'm even pleased with myself. It turned out pretty well.

And this is my 3D scene based on Might and Magic VI (PC Windows 95). In the Sorcerer's Valley. There's a light gray fog all the time. It's quite humid. And lots of trees. And flowers. It's like a fairytale island. Flowers, grass, logs. Trees and fir trees. Some trees are leafless. A sign that all is not well. Monsters live here. Undead. Summoned here by the sorcerer.

You set foot on this island for the first time. And you have no other information. The ferryman sails away. He wishes you luck. And you have the whole island to explore. You can walk around it with a point-and-click perspective. Like in the Might and Magic games. And explore everything around. It's a forest. Swampy. And a little damp here. There are flowers.


There's a mountain in the distance. Apparently that's the center of the island. And you can't go there. You need to explore the plains. And find the sorcerer's secret. To defeat him. It's worth starting with simple monsters. Enchanted pirates, skeletons, and zombies. Bats and large frogs. That way, you'll level up, gain experience. And you'll understand how everything is laid out. And where to go next.

What a strange fog there is here. It definitely has magical properties. And the trees here are different. You're seeing some things for the first time. This island is unusual in itself. The sorcerer chose it for a reason. You have to unravel the island's mystery.

Different hats – friends in an old mansion casting a spell

Today's pixel art is based on the Super Nintendo video game Tales of Phantasia. Oh, really, really great! A super gaming system. I heard that to create such cool graphics, they put extra chips inside the cartridge. An adventure in a fantasy world. Probably even cooler than Final Fantasy!

And this is my drawing based on Tales of Phantasia (SNES). Two friends actively practicing magic. They came to an old mansion to perform a magical ritual. There's an old floor. And dark wood all around. The house stands in a field. And outside it's late autumn. It's getting dark early. So they lit candles. They called all their friends. But it looks like no one has come yet.

The wind wanders through the rooms. And the doors open by themselves. Just from the wind. This is an abandoned old house. Some wizard in a hat. Who disappeared long ago. And no one cared where he went. It all just happened. The house of a true wizard. Who had lived here for centuries. No one else dared to settle here. Some think the wizard will return any minute.

Maybe it will rain. It's late autumn. The sky is gloomy. The grass has already dried. And so two friends are waiting for all the guests. But so far, no one is there. They check their magic books. To make sure everything is correct. Candles are lit. Because without them, it will be dark here. There is no electricity in the house.

Two friends. They are dressed beautifully. Different hats. Coats. Cloaks. Scarves. And big eyes. Thirsty for knowledge. And magic. At magic school, they were advised to search for ancient books in the ruins. And read complex spells from them. So the two friends have just gotten hold of some runic notes with magic. But they can't understand what's there. But first, a simple spell they understand.

A magical school of magic on a magical glowing field

Today's pixel art is based on the video game Final Fantasy VI for the Super Nintendo. Excellent graphics. And quite a long adventure. In it, you'll see a strange and beautiful world. Many strange and mysterious things await you in this magnificent 16-bit cartridge.

And this is my drawing based on Final Fantasy 6 (SNES). In this magical garden. The crosses glow. These magical fountains. It's a truly magical place. And no one knows why it happens. It's such beautiful magic. It does nothing but glow.

There's a lot of grass growing in the garden. In the summer, it's a beautiful place. And this abandoned old house. Now it houses a school for wizards. One day, a man in a big purple hat came here and decided to open a school of magic here. He never introduced himself. And no one asked him.

He also doesn't know why all this glows. He calls them magic lanterns. They glow day and night. Happy children come to his school. And grown-up men. And little animals too. The mole and the bunny invite you to visit the school of magic too. Here they will teach you elemental spells. Ice, water, fire, flame, earth, air, wind. Different magical notations have different names for these elements. And they have different spells. Then you can set off on a journey!

Ash and sand – necromancers and sorcerer towers

A 3D scene for today. About trees. And I'm impressed by my adventures in the world of Might and Magic 6. There's a ghost village. Fog. Ghosts. And such coal-like trees. I finally learned how to do that! How wonderful to be able to create something interesting!

Ahead are the ash lands. Sand. Ash. Like the moon. These are forgotten lands. Ghosts dwell here. And here are numerous necromancer towers. Some of them are even abandoned. And some are still inhabited. And sorcerers and necromancers sit there. There's a ghost village here. Tons of zombies. They wander the wastelands. Slowly. In such dark weather, they can easily be mistaken for a bush or a tree. This is always the weather here.


You approach. With your team of adventurers. Gray lines. Gray landscape. And sparse trees greet you on these plains. Everyone is ready for the ghosts to appear. They're invisible for now. But when you get closer, you'll see them. That's their standard approach. Necromancer towers contain a lot of enchanted things, including powerful magical items.

It's like a Might and Magic 6 landscape. Low poly. I can't even believe I managed to depict something like that.

I've long dreamed of combining two things. Writing texts. And programming. A story. And software. A program that displays your story. In a specific format. A picture. Like a cover. Or an illustration. One thing. And the text. And all this in a special program that understands its own format. That's what a digital reader is. It's a program.

It's a little program. In which my stories are stored. I wrote a great story and put it in the program. The program's interface is reminiscent of MS-DOS shells. Several indicators at the bottom.

The interface is simple. Contents at the top. Indicators at the bottom. Like DOS Navigator, Volkov Commander, and Norton Commander. At the bottom, there are indicators for the control buttons. There are only a few of them. A page-up button. A page-down button. If this is the last page, pressing the down button takes you to the first page. And vice versa. From the first page, you click the up button to get to the last page. And so you wander through the pages. Like a ship on the waves. These are the reader's comparisons.

There's also the option to hide or show this indicator. Of course, there's an exit button. It's all numbers. 1, 2, 3, and exit is 0. And up and down arrows. There's information: how many pages there are and which page is currently active. That's the bare minimum of information for the reader. The information button. It contains general information. About the program itself. The program version, for example. And general statistics for this story.

A story is text. That's clear. And it's also an image. And a settings file. That is, it's a kind of file structure. And the button displays all this information. Yes, there's also a color scheme. The text, the background color, the color and text of the buttons. Four colors. Colors are on a scale from 0 to 255, and so there are three color components: red, green, and blue.

So, the program is a reader. It's tailored to a specific story. A folder. Where the text is. An image. And color settings. Text color, background color. Background color for the indicator. Text color for the indicator. This way, you can vary the appearance of the text. And make it match the style of the story. So each story will have its own visual style.

And the first page of the story. It's always an image and a title. Then the second page is the first page of the story itself. This is primarily designed for short stories. Several pages.

That's the whole idea. Stylizing the story through colors. An illustration for the story and the text itself. And all this is launched from the Digital Reader program. The Info button displays all this information. Including the story title. All loaded colors. Whether the image has loaded. Something else. And the version of the Digital Reader program itself.

Initially. The idea is that each time you copy the Digital Reader, the program itself. Then you upload your story in the program's format. That is, the text itself in text form (like a TXT file). An image for the story in JPG format, and a file with the settings. The txt file contains the colors for the program's style.


Sort of. It's a folder. It contains the Digital Reader program. The program. And the story text files. With settings. And a JPG image. The image is 800x600. The program itself is 1024x768. Like everything I do, it's retro. It's written on QB 64 Phoenix Edition.

BASIC Moss – 5 BASIC versions, launched, visited the website

New development. With an idea. Like moss. Moss grows so green and fluffy. And moss is an environment. This will be a program about BASIC. Extremely small. The program has two main functions. And maybe, suddenly, it will even be useful. In theory. If the idea is developed further.

The first function. This is the web side. About the internet and BASIC. Here you can see links to popular BASIC dialects. And visit their website to personally check their website. Check for updates. Download it.

The second side is the local side. The software side. Programs. Here you can run them all. These BASIC dialects. Now on your machine. So that it's convenient to launch them all in one program.

So, there are two sides. Two buttons for switching between modes. The web side. To visit the developers' website. And the software side. To run a locally installed programming language.

This whole thing is dedicated to the BASIC programming language. Here I've collected several of its popular dialects. This is QB64. Its variant is QB64 Phoenix Project. This is Free Basic, Free Basic. BBC Basic for SDL 2.0. And PC Basic.

5 dialects of BASIC. Popular ones. 5 buttons. Large buttons with logos of these releases. You click a button, and an action occurs. In soft mode, it launches the locally installed version of the programming language. The development environment starts. In soft mode, you're redirected to the programming language's website.

There's a language selection. That is, the language of the program itself. There are two choices: Russian and English. That's all for now. Everything is still in development. I'm using VB Net. I've always been a fan of not only Basic and Turbo Pascal, but also Delphi 7 and Visual Basic 6.0. That's why it's written in VB.Net.

This is the start of the Moss project. Moss is so green and beautiful. I remember how beautifully it grows under a tree. And so soft. A very magical thing, this moss. Moss loves moisture. And such a dense mat of grass. I decided to call the project Moss. Later, I might do something about other programming languages. Probably. For now, only Basic.

The Moss project is about Basic. It's a training program in Visual Basic (VB.Net). It's great to have everything at your fingertips. A small program, and everything at your fingertips. This vertical dialog box format. Click a button and go to the website. Click a button and launch the application. And everything you need on this topic is collected here. These are 5 BASIC programming languages.  

Suppose you want to program in KB64? You press a button and KB64, the development environment, launches. If you want to, you visit the KB64 website. And so on, 5 different buttons. Each one for a different BASIC. Below is a text panel. With a short description. What website is written.  

The program is still in the early stages of development. But that's what you can say about this basic part. Although not everything works yet. A simple program about BASIC. All the BASIC languages are collected in one place. It's convenient. It's fun. I learned to program in BASIC. And wrote a program about BASIC.

Planetax

Today's sprite drawing is based on Abadox for the Dendy console. An 8-bit sci-fi shooter. It's about some kind of interesting spacesuit. Or a robot. What could you have imagined back then? It's hard to tell about the games. Even from the covers. So you sit and imagine. What's it about? It's great to develop your imagination. And peer at the covers. And think about what the game is about!

And this is my drawing based on Abadox (NES). By the way, it also looks like some kind of improved Game Boy. I saw that there too. White space. And a few sprites on the screen. Trees grow on the planet. And you walk around in your super protective suit. It looks like a deep-diving robot.

There are many biological mutating creatures on the planet. There's a dangerous gas here. And many mutating creatures. They attack very quickly and try to devour everything. Anything that doesn't look like them is their source of mutation. Apart from that, the planet is pretty empty. Trees. Surface. Soil of some sort.

The plants are blue because the liquid here is so strange. Like water, but viscous. And blue. You need to get to the stream and take a water sample. No one has figured out what it is yet. Be careful.

Water Horizons

Today's sprite drawing is based on the Dendy video game B Wing. It's a cool, 8-bit game. A space shooter. An entire genre flourished in those 8-bit days. And we played them on cartridges! It was so much fun!

And this is my drawing based on B Wings (Dendy). The ocean. A vast, endless ocean turns purple as dusk approaches. You fly around inflatable and plastic blocks. The entire ocean is filled with them. These structures are significant. They have many different functions. Radio communication, energy storage. Office bays. Everything is here. A universal structure.

The entire planet is covered in water. A deep ocean. 10 km. And floating above are these blocks. Lots of them. And they're scattered haphazardly. It's hard to tell what's where while flying so quickly.

Some simple sprites. On a blue background. The colors turned out similar to the Commodore 64. Even. And it's all 8-bit. Something simple, based on 8-bit sprites.

Three trees. It's a dream.

A 3D scene for today on the topic of low-poly trees. This is the place where you are now. There are low-poly trees. And a flat surface. It's a low-poly world. Gray sky. It's like you've entered the world of a game from the first PlayStation. It's strange.

There's a reddish tree, a bit creepy. And other trees. One is more welcoming, as if it's waiting for you and waving. Another is a regular tree. Trees grow here. It's like a scene from a 3D video game. Like a quest or an adventure game. A kind of wandering through the world. The trees are in a row. As if someone put them here.

Visual I version 0.4 "Fourth" – columns and space

It's time for the next step. Already number four. A small step. But mostly for stability. Because a decent amount of time has passed. And it's time to release something. It's time to get going. As they say. And here's the new release. Three intros. One controllable intro. And two regular intros, where you just watch the animation. And you can't do anything about it.

This time, there are two themes. It's space. It's a tradition. Because I started the idea for the visual intros with a space theme. And one is a vaporwave theme. Retro wave, synthwave. A kind of digital future, an 80s theme.


The first intro for this version is space photos. Just a intro. You look at a cycle of space photos. It's seven space photos set to music. This is the first intro for this version. And there are photos of Andromeda. And there's a comet. There's a pulsar. There's a nebula. These are rather mysterious, albeit dark, images of space. There's room for bright objects in the darkness.

Space is something vast and mysterious. It's no wonder it contains such beautiful images. This is simply a screensaver. You have to watch it. Like a movie. Without words. But with interesting music.


The next screensaver is Andromeda Photo. Essentially, the idea is taken from the previous screensaver. One of the photographs. Only a close-up. 8 photographs. They all seem to be part of one larger photograph. 4 horizontally and 2 vertically. A total of 8. Amazing detail!

Music by White Bat Audio. He has his own website and makes a lot of music, including some free for use. The track "VHS Dreams" is featured here. Andromeda is the closest galaxy to us. But still far away. And there are dark areas hidden in the darkness. And bright ones. Where thousands of strange and distant stars glow.

This screensaver is controllable. There's a map. You use it to navigate. It's reminiscent of a 90s TV remote control. You use the arrow keys to move around the map. There's a mode for displaying information on the screen, like a menu on an old TV. You can also increase or decrease the frame duration. There are also several display modes. One has vertical image movement, another horizontal. Random selection. And all the images are static, and only the user can change the image.

VaporWave Road. The final screensaver. It's dedicated to vaporwave. It's columns and virtual reality in a retro style. 80s-inspired. The music is Crystal Cola by WhiteBat Audio. He has great tracks! I'm convinced of this time and time again.


This screensaver took a lot of time. Because of my math and logic test, I decided to do everything using formulas. I spent a lot of time. And ultimately abandoned that idea. I just coded everything. It immediately became faster. I can now do this in a reasonable amount of time.

I spent a lot of time on the formula and the math. And I didn't bother making another new screensaver. I decided to finish it all without math. That's what I know how to do. It turned out well right away and in a reasonable timeframe. And that's why there are three screensavers instead of four for this version.  

And here there's a background—essentially a desktop screensaver. Vaporwave or synthwave. More like synthwave. Retro future. And columns. And music. And it all moves. There are two types of movement: columns from the side and columns as if into the distance.

 

I realized in time that it was better to do without math. And just finished it. A total of three screensavers. On the fourth step. That's when I realized it. Learning is one thing. Practice is another. And small projects are better done as you already know. This is only version 0.4. And it's good that I realized that! The theme here is columns and space.

VaporWave Road – the long road is finally programmed!

Finally, this long road is programmed! It was a bit of a challenge. I applied the formulas here. And, to put it briefly, I messed up. I decided not to do that. But to use my existing skills. I'm not good with math, and I've learned that again.

The intro is a standard one. You just have to watch it. And random animations appear. There are two types. It's all about columns and a synthwave background. Columns – hence the vaporwave. And the music is by a cool guy, WhiteBat Audio. The track is called Crystal Cola. He has his own website. And it's easy to find online. Thanks to him for the music! It's a real lifesaver!


So, the idea here is a road in virtual reality with columns. Like Sonic, maybe there's a level with columns. Or maybe there's a game like FarCry 3 Bloody Dragon. But I'm certainly overdoing it. It's all simple here. But there are many pre-programmed situations. A column from the side and, as it were, in 3D. Two types.

The side view is all sorts of stairs. Up and down stairs, for example. There are many such screensavers. They seem to move to the right side of the screen. And there are also many screensavers that seem to be 3D. When you move into these very columns. As if from the perspective of the eyes.

The columns are mostly pre-coded. And this is a good way for me to create such landscapes. And they simply move downwards. As if creating the effect of 3D movement. Many different columns. That's how I wanted it to look. You're flying at altitude through a strange virtual world. And you're looking at it all. Like a bird. Or some kind of virtual observer. Like an observer of a round in Counter-Strike.



There are many columns. And these are all sorts of bizarre landscapes within virtual reality. The columns often have some kind of structure. That is, they're arranged in lines. At different distances. And these are the landscapes here. These are plains. Virtual plains. A virtual surface. A fantastic flight. Like in retro VR movies from the 80s on VHS.

There were a lot of screensavers, sort of two types. They are shown alternately. First one type, then the other. About more than 10 views of each type. In total, there are more than 20 pre-made screensavers within this screensaver.

The columns move, and this is the main element of the landscape here. And the background is AI-generated. From the FreePik website. There's a lot there. You can also take a look. Mostly, the 3D screensavers are columns with a landscape. That is, there are many of them, and they seem to be in the distance. They are scattered across the digital plain. And they form the landscape. Large and small. Many and few. In different ways.



Most of them are pre-programmed. That is, it's hardcoded. But there are large columns, where they move to the right and left. And this is already done according to the formula. That's how I started this intro. And then I simply moved from formulas to hardcode. I can do everything much faster this way.

Such white columns. Left and right. And you between them. And they're approaching. Such a visual effect. Like a dream about virtual reality. Maybe there, beyond the horizon, you'll see how the matrix transforms reality into numbers. And before that, into a pseudo-world. A world of sketches or lines and columns. A great theme too.


For a computer enthusiast. Some films come to mind, like The 13th Floor and Nirvana. Not as popular as The Matrix, but also very good. From the era of VHS tapes and DVDs. That's also in my head. Such columns. And space.

Chel 2 (dude)

Today's sprite drawing is based on the Contra Force video game for the Dendy 8-bit console. A cool cartridge for all fans of action games, thrillers in 8-bit format. And VHS tapes too. Probably something like Action Movie or Rainbow Six, Police or something like that.

 And this is my drawing based on Contra Force (Dendy). A seaport. A beautiful blue sky. A bright day. The day is just beginning. Dude is already here. He knows that the mutant hellish ship is arriving again. A huge cargo tanker. With mutants on board. Enormous monsters. Tall and large.

The black tanker is already approaching. They came from another dimension. And they travel in tankers on water. And then they disembark. Near large energy sources. This time, a hydroelectric power station is nearby. Lots of water. A dam. A water storage facility.

Along with the black tanker, a huge gray fog is trailing. This is a new approach. Weather camouflage. The mutants prepared more thoroughly for their second visit. Again, the first level: huge docks. Cargo containers. Warehouses. And some kind of factory. A sorting plant.

Further on, a road along the shore to a hydroelectric power station. A dam. Plenty of water. And the hydroelectric power station itself. A labyrinth-like factory. Steel staircases. Lots of metal passages. Water chambers. Water containers. Computers.

A second identical tanker is visible from afar. It appeared right on the water. From a portal. And is already approaching. The second tanker can summon lightning. And there are some cyborgs there.

Today's sprite drawing is based on the Contra Force video game for the Dendy 8-bit console. This game was even called a sequel to Contra on some compilations. It's a slightly different style, of course, but it's still an action game. It also has those same shootouts and action sequences. Straight out of a VHS VHS tape.

And this is my drawing based on Contra Force (Dendy). Dude came prepared. He took his favorite red cap and a self-modified KG Creep 12 rifle. Next up are mutants. And there will be a lot of them. A bright sky. A pier. Water nearby. And mutants are just emerging from the ship. There are a lot of them. And they're very large.

So, accuracy and speed are the dude's trump card. Modified genetic mutants arrived in the city this morning. On a large ship. And the dude plans to stop them. The mutants' next move will be to the nuclear power plant. They need radiation. It's their valuable resource. Almost like gold. Green barrels with mutagens are very useful for them.

If it doesn't work out here at the port, we'll have to follow them to the nuclear power plant. That's the next level. And the finale is the nuclear power plant. Just like a great low-budget action movie in the entertainment genre. I felt like I was the scriptwriter. Almost. 8-bit sprites for today. Probably should have even started with the second part. Dude 2.

Carp and an Underwater Tree

A 3D scene for today based on the carp fish. And its underwater tree. Here lives a carp, growing an underwater tree. There's lots of sand here. And earth. And lots of fallen leaves. Anything can grow here! For example, a tree!

Here the carp grows a tree. A squirrel brought some seeds. And now a tree is growing here. And a duck brought the seeds to the carp. After all, the duck swims well and dives. But thanks to the squirrel! And the duck too! And now such an underwater miracle! A miracle tree! A tree that grows underwater!

The carp is a smart fish. And it swims everywhere here. Somewhere on the bottom are some glasses. The fish can read a lot. It's a skill fish. That's why the fish knows everything about the surface from books. And it can even communicate with surface dwellers. For this, it has a friend. Its friend is a duck. It swims and brings messages. And the carp fish relays them. That's how they communicate. So, the carp and the squirrel have become friends. There's a whole underwater library here. Lots of wood. Lots of vegetation growing there. You can read a book and eat some delicious seaweed. There are doors. Round ones. And lots of books there. The fish also lecture the other fish about the above-ground world. When they visit.

There's a lot to do here. When the current comes, the water can get murky too. You need to find shelter. There's a little house for that. But this underwater sandstorm quickly passes. It refreshes all the trees. And they grow better.

The fish swim here. At a good depth. We should make a whole garden of underwater trees. For fun. The fish think. And invite the duck to show us. In the meantime, it's fun to swim. And see what's down there. Sometimes lots of leaves appear. Such yellow ones. It's a beautiful sight. The leaves slowly sink to the bottom. And the fish draw with them. There's a pond further on. Trees grow above the pond.

And there are times when the entire bottom is constantly covered in leaves. That's where the fish draw. And so he swims. And visits his friends. The fish has many other fish friends. They all have a good time. There's a fish with a Dendy 8-bit game console. Now the carp has one too. And a game about a fish. Now the carp is swimming around a tree. And watching it grow.

Today's sprite drawing is based on the Zelda video game for the Dendy console. The Dendy 8-bit console is unique in its own way. You'll always find something interesting on the cartridge! Just think! This cartridge contains a whole world. Which you can explore. Playing as an elf.

And this is my drawing based on Zelda (Dendy). El trudges through sand and fine grass. The sun is shining brightly. There are dried branches everywhere. And something magical. A sword and a magic wand. What should I take?

A green swamp and clouds like bats

Today's sprite drawing is based on sprites from the Castlevania video game for the NES console. 8-bit. A treasured cartridge. And a game about a haunted castle. And there's also a trendy vampire hunter, bats, and Dracula. Sounds pretty interesting! For an 8-bit schoolboy, which I was and still am.

And this is my drawing based on Castlevania (Dendy). This is a strange place. There are various objects hanging in the air. Which could very well be useful to you. In your exploration of this magical place. Grass is growing, but it's unusual. And the clouds are black. As if they were a flock of bats.

Magical fire hangs in the air. Crosses. And a pretty good chain weapon. A strange choice. Usually everyone chooses a dagger or a sword. Surely this thing is also full of magic. You penetrated the fence. And found yourself in a garden. In which objects are hanging. It's as if they're giving the adventurer a chance. Giving hints. A kind of start. And attracting attention.

You feel like these clouds are watching you. But they're just clouds. And the grass is so strange. You sink if you stand in one place too long. Marshy ground. Nothing to be done. Bream – a pond with branches

Today's 3D scene is based on a bream. The fish swims in its own world. There's a lake here. And several river branches lead to a pond. And there's an outlet to the river. Right now, the fish is in the pond. Which is already overgrown. And it's quiet here.

There are lots of branches on the bottom. Whole trees. Fallen into the water. And already overgrown with moss. Everything is green. It looks very beautiful. In general, exploring the underwater world is very interesting. Everything underwater can be very different.

There are huge branches here. Whole tree parts. The trees are different. There's apparently a lot of forest up there. A whole forest grows. And sometimes the wind blows and blows trees into the water. Or something else is happening. And here, underwater, it's quiet and calm. And everything is green.

The branches form entire labyrinths. It's interesting to swim between the branches. It's a whole mysterious labyrinth. A whole network of branches. You can even hide here. Although this is the bream's world. And there's no one else here. Somewhere further on, a new area has appeared. And there are a lot of branches there. It's impossible to swim there yet. But then the current will wash everything away. And it will be possible to swim there too. The bream is waiting for this moment.

Bream likes to swim in different places. In a large lake. The water there is bluer. And in a pond like this one, the water is greener. And it knows well how to swim from the central lake to the side ponds. And it knows where the lake turns towards the river.

The bream explores these places a lot. And it has already studied them well. Its home is in the lake. And it will be necessary to return there after swimming. And there to sleep and rest. Watch fish TV. Listen to fish music. And play on the fish computer. It has everything. And nevertheless, the fish is an explorer and has retained this habit of swimming everywhere and observing everything. The fish sometimes attaches a fish video camera and records its travels. Wooden Concert Hall

Today's pixel art based on the video game Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for the Super Nintendo. Another final fantasy, another amazing and incredible adventure into the world. A new and unknown world. You explore it together with the heroes. On this beautiful 16-bit cartridge.  

And this is my drawing based on Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (SNES). Plants and a wooden concert hall. The singer has her own concert hall made of wood. And this needs to be looked after, too. Watering the flowers. Checking the chairs. Making sure no animals accidentally take the chairs. And that happened. The elephant loved the concert so much that he decided to take the chair as a souvenir.  

Or there was this time the bunny fell asleep after the concert. And woke up only in the morning. And how he started singing himself. It was loud. He always does that in the morning. The bunny loves music. And he sings songs himself. He and the mole play in a band.

So, besides the concerts, I also have to look after my wooden hall. It's like a big house. It's like a pre-made RPG MAKER 2003. Maybe I'll make one someday!

Studying Crystal Castle in the magic library.

Pixel art for today based on the video game Paladins Quest for the Super Nintendo. An adventure from 1992. A role-playing game. And role-playing games aren't always examples of good graphics. They emphasize the game world. And this is the beginning of this gaming system. And we're already seeing an interesting adventure. Beautiful graphics. Even somewhat reminiscent of MS-DOS. A very interesting cartridge!

And this is my pixel art based on Paladins Quest (SNES). We've settled into the magic library. Studying magical books. And studying a certain strange object. What is known about Crystal Castle? Everyone is searching for magic and information about the castle. Friends are already rummaging through books. And you're not far behind, buried in those huge books.

Crystal Castle. The place where you're going tomorrow. On a hike. And everyone is curious about this magical place. So, from early this morning, you've all been in the library. The librarian was pleasantly surprised by such a thirst for knowledge. And he showed you where you could find information about magic and this castle. Learning is commendable.

Carp in the Sunlight in Algae

Today's 3D scene is based on the carp fish. And the underwater thickets where the fish swim. It's bright here. Sunlight penetrates from above. And the fish scales also sparkle with silver and gold. How beautiful it is here. And how interesting it is to watch the underwater world when the sun rises in the morning and sets at sunset. The world is transformed.

Thickets, algae. Lots of them. Tall stems reach toward the surface. Toward the light. That's where it's most abundant. The thickets here are their own world. A whole underwater forest. Even the bottom is overgrown with fine underwater grass. Delicious stuff, by the way. All the fish here eat grass. Of which there is plenty.

And there are open spaces. Plains underwater. Where there is nothing. Just a field. This is a great place for carp. The water is excellent. Carp swim here a lot. And I couldn't find the shore. It must be a lake. With varying depths. And it's big. The carp understands this. This is his home. He lives here.

At any moment, he can swim up to the underwater door, and it leads to another world. Other fish live there. They are all friends. Each has its own underwater world. Thickets and seaweed. Sand, water. Everything is the same. There's enough space for everyone.

Today, the carp will be in his own world. There's plenty of room. And it's great to have a good swim here. Maybe he'll find something interesting. It's not that deep here. It can be a bit dark in places. In other places, there's plenty of light coming in from above. The fish knows nothing about the surface. But most likely, there's only water and sky there. And nothing else. The sun still shines during the day. There's probably not even a wind there. The water is always calm and quiet.

And here, underwater, there are some underwater caves. Like a honeycomb. Shallow. And some like little houses. That's further out, if you swim. You can drink tea there. Play a game console. Do some Basic problems. The fish already have everything there. Read magical picture books. Learn about other fish. And keep notes of your observations. Create an underwater map. Or watch fish TV. They even have that.

 

There are no branches or trees on the bottom here. That means either there's no shore at all and it's just a self-contained space. With water. Or something else. Each fish has its own home. And each such world is a great mystery. For now, you can swim in the sunlight among the algae. It's a very beautiful sight. Later, you can paint it with watercolors.

Vaporwave Road – Mathematical Calculations and Columns

This is a visual intro. You just have to watch it. It's Vaporwave-themed. But it turned out more like retrowave. A kind of synthetic future. Like a background image. It's taken from the FreePik website. And there's even a caption stating that this is an AI-generated image posted on that website. And there's a little logo at the bottom about it. I didn't remove it. Well, it's cooler this way. It's computer-like.

Also, there are the columns here. They're a hallmark of the VaporWave style. Like Greek columns, for example. For now, I'm using the columns. They're another image. And the idea is a road in this virtual space. Like movement or flight. Like some kind of dynamic pixel arcade game. Like Space Harrier. That's the idea. You move. And there are columns around you. Like a movement indicator.

The movement itself has several types so far. These are rows of columns. Right, left, left, and right. And that's one type of animation. Pre-written. I spent a long time choosing the parameters. Because I'm not good with math. And a bunch of views with flat animations. Like a side view. These are columns. Different sizes. Small, medium, or large.

And animations. All sorts. Side views. Two-dimensional. Like stairs up and down. Scallops. The same stairs. Just up and down. And so on, a certain number of columns. So, there's a length. It's arbitrary. About 10-something. In that range. There are also what I called special animations for different views. They just have different parameters. And it looks a little different. For example, like very thin columns, but almost the entire screen in height. Everything moves off-screen to the right.

After all, I'm not good with math at all. And choosing the parameters takes time. I need to correctly understand what numbers I need. How to create a simple formula, though. One that will track the image's progress. And for now, I'm still working on this.

I've broken it down into modules. Each animation type is in its own module. That is, in my file. And all this is in the now-familiar QB64. Which has now faded into the background compared to Free Basic. So I remembered this BASIC dialect.

Here's how to select parameters. And such small formulas. Algorithms for how they appear. Small. I decided to take this step. And, of course, I slowed down a lot. Because I don't have a mathematical mind. But I knew this would happen. And I did it intentionally. To practice. To take the first step.

 

You write the coordinate for the angle. And you have to come up with a formula for how these corner points will appear on the screen. There's a step. There's a total distance. A starting point. And in theory, you can conjure up a bunch of different display methods this way. A bunch of formulas. A bunch of algorithms that are easy to create. And that's interesting. That's a plus.

 

But the minus is that you need mathematical mindset. Without it, everything is done slowly. Crooked and as it turns out. You have a very rough idea of the result. Like, wow, that turned out pretty cool! I'll leave it like that. I'm trying to make more precise calculations here and there.

And all of this is time-based. That is, the time step. Time intervals. How it all moves. Again, in theory, it could be faster or slower. But right now, I have everything in the same temporal speed mode. Time is, so to speak, speed. It's a new perspective on this parameter. Of course, everything is somehow strange or new. Alpha Zeo – Space Agency

Today's pixel art is based on the YS III video game for the Super Nintendo. Incidentally, it's one of the earliest games. Literally several role-playing games were released there this year, including Final Fantasy. A game about adventure and travel. Side view. A very interesting solution! For a role-playing game.

And this is my drawing based on YS 3 (SNES). Welcome to the Alpha Zeo space agency. You can sit down and drink some coffee. It's clear that this is your first time on such a large spaceship. All is well. A journey awaits. You have chosen the planet Far II.

This planet is known for its forests and dungeons. There are many cities there, and magic is actively practiced. There is a mages' guild. The journey there will only take a week. Enjoy your flight. For now, you can wander around and explore everything. Talk to other travelers. Who knows, maybe someone is also going there. And you might even make friends. I think you have a big adventure ahead of you. A really big one.

Meanwhile, Alpha Zeo invites you to visit other planets in this solar system. Or nearby ones. The flight is about a week. And how do you like the Ice Planet? Ice IV. It's the only habitable planet there, with ice and snow. The other 10 planets are too cold. It's always around the end of winter there. Snow and ice. And water. And rain. And snowfall.

Or maybe you want it hotter? Planet Fire 2. Volcanoes. And high temperatures. Life under the dome is very comfortable. And there's a developed techno civilization of cyborgs there. They don't like magic there, though. Keep that in mind.

You can always find the nearest spaceport. And ask where the next flights are. You also get one free ticket as a gift. You can fly wherever you want and whenever you want. Although, if you decide to become a wizard... The agency suggests you look for magic crystals. The company uses them as batteries. In caves. This might be your first assignment. After that, you'll be enrolled in the Wizards' Guild. And given a purple amateur wizard hat. Everyone starts somewhere.  

In the meantime, sip some space coffee. And space green tea. In a day, the famous space singer Ixa will be here giving a concert. A stunning electronic concert mixed with classical music. Don't miss it. You might even get an autograph.  

It's like my version of Fantasy Star. Technology and magic. But in its own way. Different planets. And technology and magic.

 Abysses of Dungeons – Magic Decks and Adventures

Today's pixel art is based on the video game Arcana for the Super Nintendo. It was a super 16-bit console. With incredibly cool graphics and games. Especially in the early 90s. And it was home to a ton of role-playing games. All sorts. Even this one. Something mystical. Tarot cards, probably. Dungeons. And leveling up. And a little anime style.

And this is my drawing based on Arcane (SNES). Mysticism and dungeons. What can I say – a classic theme. The dungeon conceals many mysteries and secrets. Plunged into darkness. So dark that nothing can be seen. The warrior and the sorceress take cautious steps forward.

Everyone has spells, amulets, and weapons at the ready. Anything can happen. For example, a sudden trap. Or a monster jumping out of the darkness. It sees everything. And you can barely see.

There are magic cards here. The ones you bought at the alchemist's shop. They'll be very useful. Much depends on this magic of the stars and elements. A successful deck will save an adventurer's life. More than once. Such a card can help you teleport out of battle, which is unfortunate. Or heal when all your healing potions have run out.

And of course, these are the mythical astral beings you summon. You can befriend some of them, and they'll become your faithful companions on your adventures. They, from the other side of the mirror, are also curious about what's going on here. And they can be friends.

But they have their own character. They might not like you. And then the card, such an expensive card, bought from the wizard, will vanish into thin air. You can create creatures from the ether, which exist for a while and then disappear. Cards are very important.

Once the deck is complete, it's time to head to the dungeon. There are several hours of dungeon raiding ahead. I need to try to get as far as I can while I'm still fresh. And then stop and assess my strength. Make a plan. And at the same time, figure out how interesting this dungeon is.

Some caves are full of monsters and nothing useful. And it can be difficult to move forward. But sometimes there are chests and amulets. You can find all sorts of magical things. And the monsters aren't that strong. Who knows what's in that abyss?

Whitefish in a Lake

Today's 3D scene is based on the whitefish. And this is this fish's world. The fish lives here. It swims a lot. It swims to other fish in their little worlds. Each fish here has its own world, where this fish lives. There's a huge lake here. It's simply enormous. And you can swim a lot and peacefully.

The water is calm. And there's plenty of space here. It's a whole cosmos. And there are places like this. It's essentially a desert. But it's underwater. And there are places where a lot of things grow. These huge algae, like trees, almost rise to the very surface.


It's also interesting in the algae there. A whole underwater forest. There's a place where the water is shallower. And there the water is more golden. There's sand there. And in another place, the algae grows again. This is real space for any fish. And you can stretch your fins. And have a nice swim.

This lake is probably shaped like a circle. And in the middle, there's an island with green grass. And a field. Ducklings and a duck live there. There are geese there. They swim a lot there. Sometimes they dive. But the lake is simply enormous, a whole universe. You don't see them every time.

 

The water here is sometimes deeper, sometimes shallower. Sometimes there are bushes and thickets. But it's also interesting to swim through them. Sometimes it's a desert with different sand. And sometimes the water is murky. This means this space is expanding. And a new water fragment will appear. This is where it goes next. An arm of the lake. And up there, there should be another island. A green one with grass. And there are also ducklings, a duck, a goose.

  Just yesterday, a fish found another shallow arm. And there the water is golden. But such that fish can still swim there. Such clear water. Sunlight. It was wonderful to swim there. There are lots of shells on the bottom. This place wasn't here before.

 

There's plenty of room to explore. And the fish can always return to their little world. This is a piece of the lake. Where only fish live.

Moon Magic - the landing of a mysterious castle in the city

Today's pixel art is based on the Shin Megami Tensei II video game for the Super Nintendo. It's a mystical video game. Tarot cards, magic, demons, the otherworldly world. And it turns out the game was on both the NES and the Super Nintendo. We wander through labyrinths. And watch the phases of the moon. Monsters can be more or less numerous. You can talk to them. And recruit them into your team. I played a little, but not this one. I played it on PlayStation 1 and 2. I really like Persona 2.

And this is my drawing based on Shin Megami Tensei 2 (SNES). You're in a mysterious castle. It's landed in the middle of town. And you're drawn there by magical power. The fog clears. The door opens. And lanterns float in the air before you.

The wizard studies you carefully. His gaze is critical. He's serious. He floats slightly in the air on a magic carpet. He holds a crystal magic ball in his hands. It glows in different shades. Gray, blue. The wizard alternately looks into the ball and then at you.

"Aha!" the wizard said in a low voice. He's not a man of many words.

You stared at him in amazement. And couldn't help but move. Not say anything. Red velvet. Those are the curtains. This room looks very theatrical. Like a low-budget Asian action movie. Hong Kong, Bruce Lee. With a mystical Asian flavor on VHS.

"Well, of course!" the wizard said. And he looked only at the crystal ball.

After these words, the eyes from above began to peer at you intently. It seemed this wasn't just a set. You came to your senses. And even began to move. You took a couple of steps to the side. You stood up. With a clear desire to leave this place. Where were you going? It was a city. An ordinary street. And then, instantly, the castle landed. An ancient one. With this wizard.

You were sucked in like a vacuum cleaner. And then the wizard looked at you. Eyes from above were watching you just as intently. And then the wind blew. And you were carried away. Back. Through the great hall to the castle exit. You were an unexpected guest. Apparently. And you were of no interest to the wizard. You saw his magic carpet swaying. It really was hanging in the air.

The smoke cleared. And the castle doors closed. Before your eyes. But it seemed the city had become somehow different. And the sky. Something had changed. The moon. What a bright moon. Like a beacon. There had clearly never been a moon like this before!
