Right at the start, you should say "don't mess with me" (in case you're an emo)/"I'm here to have a good time" (which can also be taken positively). 

Get on his good side via Ragata (if you approach him directly, you’ll have to avoid warning Gangle about the prank, even though it’s obvious, so that could count as rude), in their argument say “I can enjoy a good prank”, agree to his “tour”, and when you’re dragged after to look for sentipid with no choice, you can tell Ragata straight out that Jax dragged you in by force. Ooooor you could pull a Looney-Tunes prank by throwing the sentipid straight at Ragata – cruel, of course, but the protagonist justifies it by saying they simply panicked, so the whole thing looks more like a funny situation than a direct prank on Ragata
Then EITHER you can say straight out that he was the one who made us bring the omelette, but after that, even if they force us into a prank on Gangle as a distraction, it’s worth covering for Jax with “he was just passing by”, OR say that you decided to bring the omelette yourself (...technically true, the protagonist didn’t refuse), and you can hand Jax over to Cain, and then from there on it seems you can behave yourself everywhere

I ended up going for him even before I actually sat down with him face-to-face, because I didn’t want to start off on a rough note and I saw the possibility of alternative routes lol. In this scenario, it seems that the protagonist is that very same nice character who was assigned to the bully as a victim, and just started trying to fix him (and even succeeded a little) xD

nono, i was playing on PC, w/o emulator! i read the desc, but the bubble problem was there too, nvrmd was it windowed or fullscreen......

btw it would be great to find the music somewhere, or at least a list! I couldn’t find it in the files, and I’m particularly interested in one specific track (the one which plays at the karaoke bar during our performance); the only option is to search through all the composer’s music, but whether I’ll find it is another matter

I’ve just gone through all (I hope) the content in the game. It’s good!! I’ll be happy to play it when the update comes out

btw, in the PC version here and there I noticed that either the dialogue wasn’t labelled with a name, or conversely the line was displayed with a name tag; a couple of times the names were in lower case, and the font in the messages on the WakyWatch was also too large and ran off the bubble (disappearing beneath the layer when it moves beyond the left edge, and conversely appearing above the layers when it moves to the right). I can go through everything again and point out specific places if you’d like! 

also, I know, I know, it’s extra work, but people love Easter eggs x), and maaaybe you could add a couple of phrases for Caine at the start when choosing a name, using a specific pool of words, to him react like “Oh no no no, pal, your name’s a swear word, this is PG-13 here, sorry, pick another one", and for the character name pool, otherwise you could call yourself XDDCC and wonder how on earth Pomni even pronounced her name? x)
but even without that, it’s all fun and great, was just letting think be written
