Very nicely put together, it felt like Y2K all over again, what a blast from the past. Cool game!

Super enjoyable puzzle game, the artwork is great and cozy, one of the best puzzle games I played in the jam.

Yeah maybe too much hand holding, since there are a lot of games on GMTK Jam and this is also a non web game I was afraid that players getting confused early on and just bail out. Also I had more levels on the original design, but problems/bugs took a lot to solve and I hadn't much time left for designing levels unfortunately. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words, as you say there's some contrast with the two mechanics. I tried to mellow it by having not a hard failure on a times up, the player is just "stuck" and it should be a possible to recover from that. Thanks for playing!

Very slick, very fast, movement is calibrated pretty well, one of the best action games I've played so far. Really nicely put together and polished.

Glad you enjoyed the experience. If you have some specific misunderstanding with the mechanics, I might be able to clarify it. It also might be some kind of bug, I tried to iron out all the bugs I could find but some weird effects could still happen. Thanks for playing!

Really fun to play, and I love the artwork and how it all works together, simple formula but with great execution, it doesn't take the theme as I would hope it had, but the game is fun and really well put together. I really enjoyed it.

Kind of a hard game, but it goes to my GMTK collection because to me it feels a bit like Ghostrunner which is one of my favorite games (also hard game as well). I really like the gameplay and audio but the artwork/graphics hinder the gameplay a bit. I would have picked something in the style of Super Hot, where the colors are very pronounced and you have a hard color contrast between environment and enemies. Still really well put together and fun to play, very cool game.

There's a mouse slider that might help if you feel the movement is too slow. Thanks for playing!

Great puzzle game, a bit "hermetic" at first but it gives enough clues on how to proceed, really well put together. Puzzle are nice and well thought. Movement feels a bit "slippery" to me but you need fast movement for this kind of pace,  anyway really nice game!

Yeah, sadly I didn't had enough time to work up the level design, two mind bending bugs took me a lot of time to solve. I'm glad you still enjoyed the experience, thanks for playing!

Impressive scope for a four day game jam. The artwork is great, I would have added an option for a desktop version, had a couple of little problems on Firefox. For some reason the carrier for the scrap get lost if I start running around, also I enjoyed the WTF moment (that I'm not going to spoil). A few minor bugs but impressive game.

Great cozy game, artwork is great, it fits the game perfectly, also nice take on the theme.

I really like the visuals and the art style, also the audio is really fitting the gameplay. A really nice and fun puzzle game. I'm saving it for my collection.

Cool game! It reminds me of Downwell, I guess it was inspired by it. I like the style and frantic gameplay. Nice idea the fact of the "revenge" factor and double the size of the game. I really enjoyed, nicely done.

I'm glad you enjoyed the experience. Thanks for playing!

Lovely cozy game, great narrative, gorgerous art, great audio and music (with the tick-tock of the time passing by), fantastic nostalgic atmosphere, also the game is nicely done with the drops moving in a realistic way. It's a 5/5 for me, one of the best I played for now.

When Guess Who meets Hitman 47. Funky idea, I enjoyed the game, also the "starter" gun dynamic is a nice touch.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks for playing!

One of the best I've played in the jam, very atmospheric, loved the art and the audio. The game creates a tense atmosphere, somewhat Lovecraftian in a way. Great job, I really enjoyed it.

Dramatic intro is dramatic! Jokes aside, it's kind of rare to see voice acting in game-jams, really cool to see, I enjoyed it.  Controls are flimsy but still an enjoyable experience. I think I roasted the king at the end, but the game froze up after that, but revenge was served. As they say: revenge is a dish best served hot... wait... Cool game!

Really cool idea for a puzzle game, love the combinations between the elements and the "serious" planet, also nice job with the progression. Very enjoyable puzzle game.

I really enjoyed the game. I made it to the final boss, but unfortunately I fell. Love the mix between 2D art and 3D elements, which is very nicely done here. The rooms are repetitive, but lots of interesting enemies, the art is very nice, and the atmosphere of the game is great. Gameplay wise not a lot there, but some strategy is involved. I wish I could had another try at the final boss. Great game!

Being compared with Sonic makes me happy. :) Thanks for trying the game!

Glad you enjoyed the game, those are fair complains, the bottom bar is kinda difficult to notice at first. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Cool retro style, simple but fun mechanic, I made it to the final boss, but he kicked my ass. Fun game!

(1 edit)

Controls are great, it takes just a little bit to get used to, and also the level design with hints integrated with the level is really well done. The visuals are simple but nice and let the player know what to grab. This is a pretty fun game to play. Nicely done.

Fun idea, love the fact of the tutorial being integral part of the game, the tire it's a bit stiff to control but still fun to play, also the visuals are nice, and I like that the level goes bonkers with crazy jumps. Cool game!

Concept is really cool, it's clear that it needs a bit more depth and it was constrained by submission time, but a lot of cool ideas can come up. The visual are simple but crisp and the pow-pow is satisfying. I think you should work a bit more on it after the jam, this is a cool idea.

I'm seriously questioning my chair spinning abilities, it took me a little to get comfy enough with the controls, after that I was spinning into the horizon. Great idea, great game, missing out a bit on audio I think.

I cried...

Yes the effect is based on a bunch of nodes and shaders I wrote. It's a bit of a spaghetti mess right now because of how Godot handles multi-instancing and me not having enough time to figure out if there's a better way to create the effect (it probably exists). I was thinking of making a couple of videos on YT, a video about this effect could be one of them. Glad you enjoyed the game, thanks for playing!

If you tried the quit button on the web version that's expected, I should exclude the quit button from web builds. If it was a desktop version then it's a bug/crash. I might apply a couple of fixes after the voting period. Glad you enjoyed the game, thanks for playing!

There is one line in the very bottom of the screen, but it's not very visible and it blends with the background a bit. Also the ship booster dims when you're energy goes low, but it's not obvious enough either, understandably you missed them. I should fix the line color to be of a more vibrant color at least. I hope you enjoyed the experience anyway, thanks for playing!

That's fair, the track is guided by the music, loosely similar of what happens in Beat Saber, but I get what you're saying. Thanks for playing!

Glad you enjoyed the game, thanks for playing!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game, thank you for playing! I tried your game too, very fun to play. I think I got a bug related to Firefox; from the second level onward the screen would go completely black, but, I managed to beat the second level staring at a black screen! :D

I'm writing here since I got a warning by itch. probably triggered by mistake after a login, as some automated anti-bot measure I presume.

Yep you're right, options were broken, I patched 'em up just half an hour ago. You're also right about the fuel line in the bottom blending up, the ship booster also dims based on the fuel/energy you have, but I don't think it's obvious enough. I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, it's my first time making a game tied to music/sound, it was kind of a mess. :)

Thank you for your review and for playing!

I had a bit of more diverse thingies but the game struggled with the web version, the audio spectrum analyzer gave me some troubles. Thank you for playing!

Hey! I fixed the broken options and the input buffering, thank you for letting me know! I hope you enjoyed the game a little bit even if it's not your cup of tea. Thank you for playing.
