Really loved these! Read through the whole thing in a sitting(well...almost). Makes me want to try my hand at writing flash fiction. The sheer variety of the stories is inspirational and I'd struggle to pick a favorite because they're all good and wonderful
Loved this! The level and enemy design does a great job of getting the most of the relatively simple bump slash mechanics and the storytelling is paced out really well with the structure of the game.
I didn't really have any first-hand experience with the specific old GameMaker stuff mentioned but I still found this to be a really interesting essay so it gets a big thumbs up from me
Really like how this works as both a standalone story and as a prequel to Facets with the way the romance between Lacy and Alyssa is expanded upon with just enough worldbuilding to set up the stakes alongside the ingenuity of the glyph system, making for some really creative fight scenes.
The juxtaposition between the lighthearted video game discussion and the sudden intensity of the situation really made the horror that much more effective.
I really enjoyed this. Combat was well-balanced and friendly without being dull. The story was nicely done and it has me hankering for more mini-RPGs in this vein.

This was legit one of the most viscerally satisfying experiences I've had with a game in a while. Can't remember the last time when the last battle in a game was both that intense and heart-pounding. Had to catch my breath after I finished this. Great stuff!
Finally got around to playing this and as someone who's attempted to make games and never managed to finish them due to fears of failure, I really needed this!
