Sorry you had issue with the troops. They should follow the player if the player is close enough. You can also direct your troops by pressing the number keys and left clicking where you want them to go. Thank you for playing the game!

Felt like it was really easy to snowball, but was a fun Balatro-like with Roulette!

Loved the song but was a little lost at how I was supposed to win or progress. I liked how the numbers and collisions transferred to point, feels like there is some nice bones to allow opponents and players catch up with that mechanic.

That seems to be a glitch with Godot 4.5 with disabling collision and I was unable to come up with a work around in the time period I had. Sorry so you experienced that, hope it didn't impact yourself experience too much!!

Good luck with your goal, feel free to check out mine! https://lukystudios.itch.io/kernel-bread

I may have got a little pull happy with the slot machine. ^^"
I do wish the first level would happen before being presented the shop menu, cause I was very confused when I was presented an upgrade shop but unable to do anything with it. Overall a really interesting auto battler where you want just barely pass each level!

Loved the twist on the typical FPS game play. Just wish I could use the gun (Was playing on a laptop)! Sometimes I would phase through walls too- where I would have to reset.

Loved the game loop- felt almost like a rhythm game with how you would have to hit the object multiple times in rapid succession!

Loved the loop of placing towers and upgrading them- tying health to currency was a great choice for risk and rewards!! Only minor complaint is I wish the UI showed that you could upgrade towers cause everything else about the game was super intuitive, didn't need the tutorial at all!

A h- I see! Making a more pacifist game where your focus is dodging instead of fighting zombies is an interesting angle. I still think tying the different abilities to items you are carrying to deliver would allow for more risk-reward opportunities!

Loved the simple platforming and having to run through the level twice, allowing me to learn the layout before having the risk of being punished. A bit confused why I would want to end the run early and I do wish there was at least a song loop for the background

Reminded me a lot of Wario Ware, with the fast paced punching and hiding from the teacher. Love the subtle touch of being able to choose who you are fighting as.

Loved the music and humor! I wish the beat matching was a bit more forgiving, cause it felt like sometimes I would lose biscuits but hitting the timing correctly.

Felt a little flat, just running back and forth between the two houses. Wish there maybe there was more houses that I would have to remember their orders or a way I could risk ordered items to fight against the zombies but not be able to complete the food order at the end.

Felt a little limited by the bag size, but the loved having to juggle both walking and balancing at the same time! Wish I was able to save high scores or fail, but a great prototype

Overall, a really interesting game with a unique spin on the theme! The dynamic music reminded me a lot of Tunic. The pixel art is really cute (sucker for 2-bit games). Some friction points here and there but the sense of discovery was amazing. The visual effects were a bit trippy but I think that's more an issue with the wide aspect ratio.

Oh- I thought I just had to hope and pray the fires didn't burn down anything! Most of my issues with the randomness was due to the Volcano because I didn't realize I could "fight back", not so much with the deck of cards.

I'll try out the game again that I know that, thank you for  replying!

Felt like it was extremely difficult to get a run going due to the amount of randomness. There was several times where Vesuvius would erupt, destroying everything that was pre-placed before I was even able to place a card. There was a lot of different cards and resources that looked interesting to collect but I wasn't able to play many of them due to the high cost.

I love the idea of trying to build a city under a timer with your previous work being destroyed, but I wish I could attempt to build that city first!
