This game is quite fun. Got stuck on puzzle 109 but maybe I can come back to finish this at some point.

Been a big fan of your work for a while. Genuinely have to say there is a lot of heart and soul in the work you do. Makes me actually a little sad to hear that AI is being shoved in the way of your passionate output. Out of the many creators I follow on here, your calming atmospheres and designs stand out.
While I would love to say hands down that this game alone could easily keep you afloat as a solo dev, I feel I would be lying to you saying it is an easy path forward. I do think with enough time you could do it. I think if possible, it might be worth considering trying to push this project over the finish line while you have the job security. It would likely increase the overall dev time but again it may be safer in the long run.
Also for any word of advice on the project, I highly recommend seeing if a project like this could be released not only on PC (maybe on like Steam too if possible) and Android but iOS and I would say even Switch. Cozy games like this do great on those platforms and if you want a bigger audience for going solo dev, targeting those would go a long way toward that.
In any case, best of luck. Your work is stellar and I think you can go quite far if you stuck with the great projects you put out here. Can't wait to see what you have in store soon.
I feel like this would be amazing if there was a toggle to make it easier (for a worse score or making you have to play the game longer). I can easily blast through like half of B rank but processing the buttons is really hard for me given some look really similar color wise making failed inputs incredibly rough on the timer. Honestly an improved mobile version of this game would be quite popular imo
Yeah I can see what you mean about the clock. I do think it would help especially the further you go along since the day can sometimes feel really short although that is maybe the intention.
As for the Superpower Cards, yeah having them in the encyclopedia would be nice. I meant more so like a screen that showed all your current movement options like in the options menu to refresh players if they haven't played in a little while. It would be faster than reviewing all the superpower cards individually after a certain point.
The actual tips I was referring to were like maybe hints at good combo ideas or explaining how random debris shows up every once in a while. Just small little snippets that would maybe fit between segments of the game like maybe when your total is being calculated for the day. The issue there might be that the animation may need to be longer for that to really be feasible so maybe not worth it. Just an idea though.
Amazing. Art pops, gameplay is addictive. The gameplay loop feels perfect for a farming sim. I do think it would be nice to have a day clock somewhere on the screen since night would often come up when I least expected it. Additionally something to the effective of a tips/ability guide in the menu would be really nice much like the other parts of the encyclopedia. Honestly I would love to play this on Nintendo Switch after it is finished for PC and iOS since it seems like a perfect fit. Can't wait for the full release!
The demo for this was pretty compelling. I did have some trouble playing with a gamepad just because the game was more focused on keyboard controls but got through it. Also took me a while to figure out how to recruit Tama since I didn't have any clear directive as to how that functioned. Would love to play a full version on Switch since this seems like a perfect game for that platform.
concept is solid. I personally just didn't like how melee attacks were somewhat worthless near the end. The enemies can begin attacking even from outside the viewable area leading to unreasonable deaths and being kinda confused by the leveling system. Lot of potential that I would like to see improved on.
