I'm also sharing Marion's card using my Space stamp set which I'm on the fence about...thinking of dicsontinuing it but Marion is changing my mind. I might make a minor adjustment or two and bring it back! :) Marion also used my Stripes and Dots stamp set to create her polka dot background.

LOVE the shaker card and the googly eyes on the alien! :)

five days of artistic challenge

I've been nominated for the five days of artistic challenge  so I thought I'd pop in and share my cards.

This card is day 1. I used my Pretty Peonies, Butterflies, Wise Owl, Stripes and Dots and Doodle Flowers II stamp set. 

And this is my card for day 2 (today). I used my Smile stamp set.

I coloured with my Graph'it markers and created my background with water colours.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I live in a cave! :) I'm always the last one to hear about something. I've known about Operation Write Home but never really went to check it out...I always zip through my emails and bloggers I love to visit.

Anyways...I saw on instagram Sandy's card using my Pretty Peonies (which is currently out of stock but I will be ordering more!) stamp set....OMG!!! Talk about colouring skillzzz!!!

Check out Mariana's brilliant card....she is so awesome with colour and design!! I just love how she used our Pretty Peonies stamp set and circle dies....and the stitching is perfect! Stamp the flower on different coloured cardstock, cut them out in this case with circle dies and then match up the petals and you get a fun, bright and FAB card!

I'm busy drawing....so many ideas I'm having a bit of an anxiety attack!! Deep breaths!!

It's Angeline's turn on the JD blog today and she created this beautiful tag using Pretty Peonies, Autumn Blessings and Blessings Sentiments.

Also I wanted to share this giveaway I'm doing on my blog...

I had to wrap up a little special birthday gift and as I do many many times I used a paper bag and stamped dots all over it with our Geometric Patterns stamp set. I then stamped and cut out a tag from our Life is Good stamp set and the sentiment is from our TEArrific (Croatian version) stamp set.

It's my turn on the JD blog today and this is the card I'm sharing today! All but the base of the card was on hand...what do I mean you ask?? :)

When I lose my inspiration, can't make a card or draw to save my life I like to stamp images, colour them, cut them out and have them ready for when my mojo kicks in again. It really comes in handy making your own 'die cuts' with your stamp images....and it saves me time in the end too.

For this card the butterflies, little journal tabs were ready for use and the only thing I did was stamp the pattern on the card and the sentiment! 

I used Butterflies, Attached to you and Random Patterns. 

Lots of layering on this card and nothing really adhered totally flat...I think it adds motion, dimension to the card when layered in this manner.

I want to apologize for the quality of my pictures lately...I have no idea what's going on and don't really have the time to figure it out but I'll eventually figure it out! 

Anyways I created this card using our Butterflies, Pretty Peonies and Roses stamp sets. 

I did some masking with the flowers and leaf (the other two leaves I cut out). I added some colour using watercolours. I then heat embossed the peony with white embossing powder onto yellow cardstock so that this flower stood out and is the 'you' in the sentiment Beautiful you. I adhered the flower and one of the leaves with foam dots for some dimension.

Pinterest has become of my morning routine...I like to browse around while drinking my coffee or tea and the other day I came across this and thought I'd give it a try using my stamps! :)

I used our Roses, Pretty Peonies, Doodle Flowers, Attached to you and another stamp set which is not available yet (a little sneak peek if you will!). I used my water colours and some glitter glue that I added on the flowers...it's very pretty in real life. For some of the flowers I drew them with a black pen/marker.

Now a little JD spotting!! :) I just love Scrapflower's bookmark using our Double Trouble stamp set!

And how SWEET is Stephanie's card using our Home Sweet Home stamp set! :)

Hope you all had a lovely weekend...I've been sick (and two of my kids) .....so I apologize for neglecting the blog but I just have been so exhausted....kids are healthy and I thought I was too and then last night I had a high fever all night!! No fever now....anyways...I've got some gorgeous projects to share...the first is this awesome card created by Angeline using our Cube It stamp set. I love how Angeline coloured every other cube and the sequins is the perfect touch! :)

Eva created this sweet tag using our Pretty Peonies stamp set! Love how she added the cork element to her tag. :)
