No time to colour, heat embossing is a gorgeous alternative. Just a little blending and voila.

Note: the store is unavailable due to maintenance, should be up and running soon.

Hello!

Today I'm sharing Claudia's gorgeous projects using Peony and Winter Florals.

I love the look of leaving some of the leaves or flowers uncolored. I gotta try that.

Claudia's stretching the Winter Florals stamp set and using it to create a gorgeous SPRING vibe tag with these gorgeous springy colours.

Isn't this an adorable little treat. Surprising someone with a nice cup of tea. It's not expensive to do, just takes some time and love. I think I'm going to do this for the ladies at the post office for putting up with me. LOL

peace, love and joy

Hello!

Today I'm sharing my card using Winter Words and Winter Florals
This is one of my favourite techniques. It's so simple and quick. I have been asked how I do it so I plan to start doing little videos to share on Instagram.

Don't forget, JD's Black Friday sale starts at midnight (CET)!
I'm ready to pack!

Winter Words is a great sentiment set for the holidays.

special guest

Hello Jane’s friends!  It’s Norine with you today for a guest post!  I recently received the new stamp sets Winter Flowers and Merry Gnomes and I have several projects to share with you!

I used the Winter Flowers set to stamp all of the individual stamps in the set, some twice, and some seven times! (the small leaf).  I stamped onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and used waterbased brush tip pens in shades of blue to color the various images and a wet paint brush to blend the colors.  Then I hand cut the colored shapes, plus a few uncolored images, and created an arrangement for my card front.  I used Press n Seal to hold all of the individual pieces together then transferred them to the striped patterned paper card front.  The sentiment is from the Winter Words stamp set, and is stamped on coordinating blue cardstock and heat set with white embossing powder.

The Winter Flowers set is absolutely stunning and one I plan to use again soon, and I would have had more to share with you but my heart was stolen by the adorable Merry Gnomes stamp set!

I began by stamping all of the images in the set onto masking paper and cutting them out so that I could build a variety of scenes with the pieces.  The first card uses the two snowmen and the tree plus a pile of presents.  There are two gift stamps in the set and I stamped them repeatedly on cardstock and colored them before cutting them out and adhering them to the design.  That method seemed easier than masking and stamping all of the presents.  I inked the background then added snowflakes with tiny drops of liquid adhesive and white embossing powder.  The sentiment for this card is also from the Winter Words stamp set.

The next card is pretty simple.  I masked and stamped the two snowmen and the gnome so that the middle, taller snowman looks like he has his arms around his buddies.  I used Copic markers to color all of the stamped images today and when this trio was colored, I fussy cut the group as a unit and adhered it to a card front with a white cardstock snowdrift against a blue polka dot patterned paper sky!  I thought the dots made it look like it was snowing.  The sentiment for this card is in the Merry Gnomes set.

Then I made a couple of tags.  The Merry Gnomes includes the cutest little stool image so I perched the short gnome on top of the stool looking like he was decorating a tree, and adding a carrot nose to the snowman!  I know!  I can hardly stand how cute that is!!  I die cut each stamped and colored image and backed them with a second tag die cut from coordinating cardstock.  The Merry Gnomes set includes this sentiment as well.

Finally, I have one more Gnome card, and this one isn’t necessarily seasonal.  The two little gnomes have their hand positioned in such a way that stamped together, they look like they are high-fiving each other! I used masking paper to stamp them with their hands overlapping, colored the gnomes and added the “gnomebody” sentiment.  I didn’t have any stamps that say “high five!” so I measured and drew pencil lines, and wrote my own greeting with a liner pen, imitating the font of the stamp in the set.  I also penciled a frame around the focal image with a ruler, then drew wonky lines over top.

There you go!  That’s a lot!  I hope you got some ideas for fun ways to use these new sets from Jane’s Doodles!

winter florals

Today I'm sharing a peek of one of our newest stamp sets called Winter Florals which is coming hopefully by the end of the week. I did some digital masking. The set is full of gorgeous winter florals (holly, mistletoe, Christmas rose and poinsettia).

The sentiment is from Winter Words.
