Frank Wing (1873-1956)

Frank Wing's crude, powerful and offtime cruel slice-o'-life comic Yesterdays originated in the Minneapolis Journal about 1910. The following selections are from the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix 1929-1930. Charles 'Sparky Schulz' studied cartooning with Wing. Blog Flume has a post with illustrations from a Yesterday's book collection HERE.
