Using a process invented in the 1850s, these one of a kind images were created using silver, light, and a 100 year old wooden camera. All of these images were created using studio lighting.

Tin type photo

Just minutes from the mailbox but I could not resist scanning and posting this tintype of an arcade moon set! The young couple sit on a faceless paper moon in the first of my tintypes to come from an identified studio. I have removed it from the paper mat since I like to see the sky but I am posting a scan of the studio stamp on the mat. It is from "Aylsworth's Photography Studio, Oakland Beach, R.I.
