New Year Rosettes

Ring in 2026 with a festive handmade touch!  Judy here with  a New Year Rosettes project for CutCardStock. These are a fun and elegant way to add sparkle to your holiday décor.  You can use them as table centerpieces, party picks, or photo-prop accents. Created with shimmering metallic cardstock and layered rosettes from CutCardStock, this project brings together all the glitz and glamour we love about New Year’s Eve.

Materials

DCS Gold Glitter Heavyweight Cardstock

Bright Foil 10 pt Silver Cardstock

Stardream Metallic Onyx 105 lb CardStock

Patterned Papers

Circle, word & number dies

Firework stamps, Versamark, embossing powder

Score board

Glue, low temp glue gun & glue sticks, double sided tape

Dowels

Die Cutting

Die cut circles, 1 large and 1 medium size using Gold Glitter, Silver and Black cardstock.

Rosettes

Cut 3 strips of 1 3/4 x 12 inch pattern paper for each rosette.

Score every 1/2 inch along the 12 inch side of each strip. Accordion fold.

Cut 2 small circles for each rosette.

Assemble

Adhere 3 strips end to end with double sided tape to form a circle. Squeeze the circle together tightly and glue small circle to center on each side.

Add Embellishments to the medium size circles.

Adhere the rosette pieces to the large circles. Layer the medium size, embellished circles over the rosettes.

Glue dowels to each rosette.

Each rosette features its own celebratory element—fireworks, glittered accents, and a bold “2026”—all anchored in a small arrangement that’s easy to customize for your own party theme or color palette.

Rosettes are one of my favorite projects because they look impressively detailed but are incredibly beginner-friendly. Once you get the hang of scoring, folding, and assembling the layers, you can mix and match shapes, textures, and sentiments to create endless variations.

Whether you’re hosting a big celebration or keeping things cozy at home, these New Year Rosettes are a charming way to welcome a fresh start. Cheers to creativity, sparkle, and a fabulous year ahead!

Have a HoHoHomazing Christmas! - Festive Card Inspiration

Today I’m sharing a sweet and festive Christmas card featuring
one of the new Mabel Holiday Printable Bundles from

I had so much fun bringing this design to life with classic holiday colors,
lots of layering, and a touch of sparkle!
For the background, I used a red-and-green striped paper from the bundle.
It is matted with green card stock and adhered to red glitter card stock on the card base.
I then added a scalloped stitched frame in deep green to anchor the focal point.

The star of the card is "Mabel", all dressed up for Christmas in her polka-dot dress,
cozy boots, and a gorgeous flower crown.
I colored her in warm, soft tones to match the vintage feel of the paper.
To complement her floral crown,
I tucked in a cluster of poinsettias and holly leaves in the upper corner,
which is pussycat from another of the papers included in the bundle.
—perfect for adding dimension and seasonal charm.

The playful sentiment, “Have a HoHoHomazing Christmas!”, also from the bundle,
ties everything together and adds a fun, cheerful touch.

A few pearls in the upper corner finish the design and add just the right pop of shine.
This card was such a joy to create, and I hope it brings a little extra holiday cheer your way!

Happy crafting! 🎄✨

Penguin Shadow Box Card

Hey there! Judy V here sharing a fun and festive penguin shadow box card featuring the cutest little penguins. They are from the Sliding By Stamp & Die Bundle for Pajama Crafter Stamps! This project is full of winter charm, dimensional layers, and personality, thanks to these bundled-up buddies enjoying a snowy day.

I started by creating a shadow box frame with a metallic blue cardstock paired with a bold silver scalloped layer. The shine of the metallic frame adds the perfect touch of holiday sparkle without overpowering the scene.

Inside the shadow box, I built a playful winter landscape with gently rolling snowbanks. The backdrop is one of the flashcards from Christmas Wishes Flashcards, which I foiled.

The star of the show, of course, is the penguin trio! One penguin is happily ice-fishing. The second is enjoying a sled ride. And, the third is ice skating! Each was colored with markers, die cut and popped up for dimension.

To finish off the card, I added a simple white snowflake on the corner.

This Penguin Shadow Box Card is fun to make. It's also a wonderful keepsake for anyone who loves interactive or dimensional designs. Perfect for sending warm holiday cheer!

Ornament Card

Time for me to share some inspiration for this month's

My project is an ornament shaped card with Christmas colors.
Red, green and gold are classic Christmas colors, in my opinion,
so thats what I used.
The ornament shape is die cut out of red glitter and a gold foil card stocks.
I die cut a smaller circle shape for the card center.
The poinsettias and sentiment were stamped from the
I colored the poinsettias with Prismacolor pencils.
Gold "gem look" trim was added to complete my design.

Heaven & Nature Twisted Easel Card

Hey there! I'm here today sharing a twisted easel card featuring one of my favorite stamps from Pajama Crafter StampsHeaven and Nature.

This card comes together with a mix of die cut layers and rich holiday reds. A classic twisted-easel is perfect for displaying throughout the season.

Creating a Twisted Easel Base

Have you ever made a twisted easel card? It is fairly easy.

Cut a piece of 5 1/2 x 11 inch piece of card stock. Score at 5 1/2 inches along the 11 inch side, fold and burnish. With the fold on the left, score diagonally from the top right corner to the score line on the bottom left. Fold and burnish. This diagonal piece forms the easel to display your focal.

Once the base is complete all you have to do is decorate the card front and inside as you desire. Be sure to add a “stop” to the inside to hold the easel in place for displaying.

Card Details

I colored the stamped image with Prismacolor pencils. Papers from the Winter Parade Paper Pack are perfect for the card front. To frame the image, I die cut ornate borders in red foil card stock. This adds a gorgeous shine and gives the whole card a festive, decorative feel.

For a cohesive look I add striped paper and more foiled die cuts to the base.

I use foam tape to adhere the “stop” to the card base. It consists of the sentiment, which is stamped and heat embossed. Die cuts are layered beneath the sentiment.

Finishing Touches

Sparkly accents and the detailed edging bring everything together.

Twisted easels are such a great way to showcase a detailed focal image. They always make the recipient say “wow!”

Warm & Cozy Holiday Card

Can you believe that the holiday season is here once again?
I'm here today with my latest project for Clear Scraps
I’m calling it a Warm & Cozy Holiday Card, but
it’ll work for any winter occasion.

I am using
and

I start by creating my card base.
Cut a piece of card stock 5 1/2 x 11 inches.
Score at 5 1/2 inches along the 11 inch side.

Since I'm creating a winter card, I die cut a snowflake panel.

The die cut panel is adhered to the card base.

Time to “dress up” the embellishments.
I chose to cover the mittens with a patterned paper and some glitter cardstock.

Trace the mitten shape onto the paper and card stock and cut out.

Paint the string on the mittens and the “Warm & Cozy” chipboard piece.

Adhere the patterned paper and card stock to the mittens.

Add the embellishments to the card.
I backed the “Warm & Cozy” piece with a stitched circle die cut.
A few punched snowflakes were added to the mittens.

Thanks for checking out my Warm & Cozy Holiday Card project.

Have an Ice Day! Handmade Winter Card

Today I’m sharing a fun and festive winter card
featuring this sweet little ice-skating bear all bundled up for the season!

Just one of several new digis available now.
She is adorable, isn't she?

I used a mix of die-cut snowy hills, glittery evergreens, and a soft winter sky to build the scene.
The adorable bear—dressed in a bright green scarf and classic Santa hat,
skates across a shiny blue “ice rink” for the perfect winter moment.
To finish the card, I added red ribbon accents, sparkly snowflake embellishments, and
a playful sentiment tag that reads “Have an ICE Day.”
The mix of textures, sparkle, and cute character details makes this card such a joy to create
and a cheerful way to send warm winter wishes.
Thanks for visiting, and I hope this inspires your next seasonal craft! ❄️✨

Whimsical Christmas Turkey Card

Today I’m excited to share a whimsical and joy-filled Christmas card featuring an adorable holiday turkey digi stamp from Conie Fong Art & Design's  Turkey Bundle This festive little guy is all dressed up in his striped winter hat and proudly holding a Christmas tree, making him the perfect star for a playful holiday greeting.

Coloring the Image

I colored the turkey using Prismacolor pencils, layering soft pinks, blues, and warm neutrals to bring his feathers to life. The hat and tree add cheerful pops of red and green, tying everything together with classic Christmas charm. Once finished, I fussy-cut the image and added some glitter glue to the tree.

Building the Card Layout

The background features a bold black patterned paper filled with colorful Christmas trees—fun, modern, and perfect for adding visual interest. I framed it with coordinating cardstock and layered a stitched circle die behind the turkey to help him stand out from the busy pattern.

To balance the design, I added three black glittered dots for texture and a festive “Merry Christmas” sentiment on a layered banner.

Finishing Touches

Everything is mounted on a rich red card base for that final holiday touch. The result is a cheerful and unique Christmas card that blends whimsy with traditional seasonal colors.

If you love creating cute and festive holiday cards, this little turkey is sure to bring a smile to your face. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!
