Kamo is a program developed by Piriform, the creators of CCleaner, which aims to help you cover your digital footprint, giving you an extra layer of privacy when surfing the Internet. Deleting cookies periodically is all well and good, but it doesn't prevent third parties from tracking you online and collecting data about you, which is precisely what this software aims to prevent.
Easy to install and set up
Unlike other privacy apps, Kamo is very easy to set up. The installation process only takes a minute or two, and once complete you can start using the program without having to configure anything at all. From the main window, in fact, you can instantly see your privacy score: a percentage from 1 to 100 that will tell you how easy or difficult it is for third parties to collect information about you and your habits.
A VPN and much more
One of Kamo's main tools is its VPN which allows you to create a more secure connection between your PC and the world wide web. With this you can hide your location and prevent web service providers from accessing your web traffic. In addition, the program will tell you which websites are trying to get hold of your personal data and will regularly create new digital footprints to help you throw trackers off the scent. Similarly, the app will recognize all your browsers and, if you want it to do so, delete your browsing history periodically.
Erase your footprint and surf securely
Download Kamo and add an extra layer of security and privacy to your everyday life. Thanks to this program you can be sure that your private information stays private and no one will use it to make a quick buck. You can protect all your data about your location, browsing preferences, beliefs, medical information, political views, and in general all the information that you would not want third parties to know.
