Grandma's Birthday

Hey pals. Well, I are back in Lubbock after a 5 and a half hour drive (at least 2 hours of which were in pouring rain). Momma says it are good I are such a good co-pilot, since I will be getting a LOT of co-pilot experience in da next month or so - we are gonna go back to Plano next week, then back to Lubbock for a few days for momma to finish her classes, then back to Plano. And then momma has to pick up her exams for her Civil Rights class - good thing I'm a good traveller!

Well, I had a lotta fun wif my BFF, but yesterday wuz da real reason we went back dis weekend.

It wuz my grandma's (Brinley's momma's) birthday! And she wanted to spend it wif her favorite (ok, ONLY) granddog. BOL.

She had a good birthday - lotsa presents, tasty foods, and I gave her lotsa birthday kisses!

Dis are da cake my momma made. Da yellow submarine are cute and all, but maybe next year momma will try for a pair of westies!

Breakfast wuz cheesy bacon omelettes - yum!!!

We had a nice sunny day today!

So me and Brinley spent da afternoon in da backyard wif my momma.

Brinley found lotsa flowers to visit!

Den we got to go on a walk.

We gotta do nayborhood patrols, even on our birthdays.

We is just dat dedicated.

It wuz a successful patrol - no zombies spotted. Just da yorkie pack, which we woofed at. Friendly woofs.

Me and my BBF had a lotta fun.

Tonite Brinley got to open her presents!

My momma gave her a guitar tot.  

And she got a cow from her momma.

She had to tell everyone how happy she wuz!

She also got a gnome dress and a tiki dress like me so we can match!

Den we got dinner!

It's My Birthday!!

I am FIVE today!

I know, I can barely believe it!

And I got to celebrate wif my bestest friends!

I didn't get to do too much fun stuff today since we had storms.

No bike rides, no walks, no backyard time.

But I did get some extra snuggle time wif momma.

And I got a delishus brekkyfast. A cheesy omelet wif bacon!!

YUM!

And I got some pawsome presents!

Grandma gave me dis fun pig toy.

And momma gave me dis rainbow! 

I are gonna have fun chewing!

And I got 2 new dresses.

 

Grandma made me da tiki one and momma made me da gnomes.

I made shure to claim em as mine.

Den it wuz time for my birthday dinner - I got my very own cheezeburger!! YUM!

I luv cheezeburgers!

And I got a peanut butter birthday cupcake too!

It looked so good! 

In fact, I kinda think it looks like someone. 

Being 5 are awesome!!
