A Mother's Day Visit

Well, I got to go to Plano and see my BFF!

We had lotsa fun together!

And we got to see my grandma for Mother's Day!

Tonite we are watching Westminster.

Our cousin, Sevy (Elvador Starlight Goblet of Fire), won Best in Breed!

Me and Brinley made shure to give my grandma some extra kisses today!

And she had a pretty good day - momma made shrimp eggs benedict for brunch and they are gonna have key lime pie later.

They also went to da movies and she got some good presents. Ya know it wuz good cuz there's a westie on one of em.

Grandma's Birthday

Hey pals. Well, I are back in Lubbock after a 5 and a half hour drive (at least 2 hours of which were in pouring rain). Momma says it are good I are such a good co-pilot, since I will be getting a LOT of co-pilot experience in da next month or so - we are gonna go back to Plano next week, then back to Lubbock for a few days for momma to finish her classes, then back to Plano. And then momma has to pick up her exams for her Civil Rights class - good thing I'm a good traveller!

Well, I had a lotta fun wif my BFF, but yesterday wuz da real reason we went back dis weekend.

It wuz my grandma's (Brinley's momma's) birthday! And she wanted to spend it wif her favorite (ok, ONLY) granddog. BOL.

She had a good birthday - lotsa presents, tasty foods, and I gave her lotsa birthday kisses!

Dis are da cake my momma made. Da yellow submarine are cute and all, but maybe next year momma will try for a pair of westies!

Hey pals!

Well, we has been busy around here.

On Tuesday, Finley and Brinley's momma had her cat-or-racks surgery.

We don't know if da cats or da racs won, but somebody stole her glasses!

She can now see us across da room wifout em! Guess I are gonna hafta be more careful about being naughty when she are in da room, BOL.

There's a rematch on Tuesday apparently. 

She says if anyone are worried about da cat-or-racs surgery, dey shouldn't be. And just do it or somefin like dat. 

My momma has been trying to write a paper. So far, she has over 13,000 of 20,000-25,000 words. It are pretty boring though. We like it when she watches Outlander better - we like da bagpipes and da fighting!     

What else woulda expect from westies??

Yappy happy Mother's Day! I wuz so worn out from planning a speshul momma's day for my momma dat I couldn't even bother to sit up for my selfie. My present wuz homemade and I gave it to her on da walk. Grandma picked it up, and I'm not sure where it is now. But since grandma wuz wrapping it, I'm shure it are somewhere speshul, BOL. 💩

Well, we think dat da mommas had a pretty nice day. Dere wuz shrimp eggs benedict for brunch (is it still brunch if it are almost 3?), MOMosas, and key lime pie for dessert.

And yes, we got a taste of whippy cream.

Tuesday Tunes

Hi pals! Well, it has been a busy couple days for us.

We has been having to defend da house from all kinds of monsters - momma says dey is just doing road construction and dat we are not gonna bark em away, but I think she are wrong. Cuz we barked and barked and den dey left when it got dark.

Anyways, we wuz so busy barkin that we forgot to do our Music Monday post!
