Flower Friday!

Hi pals! I had to get groomed today - momma took these pictures BEFORE, so you'll hafta wait until tomorrow to see da afters. But I survived. 

Grandpa has brain surgery round 2 scheduled - this time they are gonna remove it endoscopically, which means they go through da nose. I tried to tell momma I could help since uhh, I has been known to try to lick up people's noses (well, at least Aunt Ally's), but she said that my "help" wuzn't needed. 

Since it are Flower Friday, we has some flowers to show ya.

Momma bought some flowers for her outside pots.

And look, they aren't even covered in dust. YET.

It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas!

 

Hey pals! First up we wanna think everybody for all da POTP, prayers, and good thoughts for our grandpa/daddy.

He had his shoulder surgery on Wednesday - a steel plate and screws. So I guess now he are gonna set off metal detectors at da airport? Anyways, he has to have it in a sling and immobilized for 4-6 weeks, then he are gonna hafta do rehab.

Meanwhile, da mommas has been working hard at getting Christmas stuff done.

Da tree are getting close to being done (it are a multi-day job), da inside and outside decorayshuns are up, cookies are being made, my cards got sent out . . . 

But we are still waiting for presents under da tree for pups!

New Christmas Dresses!

 

First up I wanna thank all my pals for sending good thoughts and prayers to my grandpa. He's still in a lot of pain and has his surgery on Wednesday.

But we have been keeping him company.

My momma and grandma have been busy wif da Christmas decoratin. 

Today they finished outside lights - tomorrow they start da tree!

My momma made us new Christmas dresses!

My momma has started making some Christmas cookies.

But she needs to get to work on DOG cookies!

If this expresshun duzn't get me some cookies, I don't know what will!

Grandpa Update

 

So, it turns out Grandpa (Brinley's daddy) are gonna hafta have surgery on his shoulder - he are gonna hafta have a steel plate and screws at da minimum, it might be a parshul replacement if the bone falls apart during surgery.

He are still in a lot of pain. And his shoulder will probably never be the same again - we don't know how much he'll recover. He has surgery next Wednesday.

So yeah, it stinks. I keep trying to get him to pick me up cuz I LUVED when he'd pick me up but he can't right now. At least he can still pet me wif his other hand.

In other news, da mommas are getting started wif da Christmas decorating.

I better go hide da antlers!

Oh and we got some outside time dis week - leash-free finally!

Bad Drivers Stink!

 

Well pals, on Saturday, some bozo ran into my grandpa when he wuz out walking.

He wuz hit pretty bad - he had to go to da hospital in an ambulance and has a broken humerus in his shoulder.

He are goin to da orthopedist tomorrow to find out about surgery.

It really stinks - he are in a lot of pain. Brinley has been keeping him company watching movies wif him.

But I are upset becuz I can't jump on him and he can't pick me up for snuggles.

We KNEW there wuz a good reason why we bark trucks!

Don't worry grandpa, we'll keep those nasty trucks away from you!

It wuz also Father's Day! Happy Father's Day grandpa!

And it wuz da furstest day of summer!

And we got to go out and play!
