After years plying his trade on popular Greek label Timewarp Music, long-serving 'nu-funk' scene stalwart Quincy Jointz (AKA German producer Dirk Schafer) lands on Kraak, bringing with him a predictably action-packed six tracker. There's plenty to get the blood pumping throughout, from the Italo-influenced nu-disco colour of sparking opener 'Dance With Me' and the bleeping electro-disco-with-house-pianos bounce of 'Heat', to the kaleidoscopic neo-italo-disco flavours of 'No One Does It Better' and the muscular, Bordello a Parigi style excitement of 'Set You Free'. The pick of a very strong bunch is arguably 'Spaceship', an intergalactic Italo-disco treat whose spoken word sporting original version comes accompanied by a handy instrumental take.
