Illias "illias" Ganeev (born April 12, 2002) is an inactive Russian player who is currently on the inactive roster of Virtus.pro.

Biography

[edit]

Illias broke through as a promising young support in the CIS region. He got his big break when joining Natus Vincere in late-2019. However, his time there was stiffled by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He joined VP.Prodigy in November 2020, with the entire roster was promoted to the main Virtus.pro days later. In January 2021, he changed his name to "Kingslayer".[1] With Virtus.pro, he helped establish them as the strongest team in the region, although international glory eluded him, with 2nd at ESL One Summer 2021, 3rd at ESL One Fall 2021, and 5th-6th at The International 2021.

In January 2022, he chose to take a break from Dota 2, and was replaced by Xakoda. For two years, limited news was heard of him. In Febrary 2024, Nightfall revealed that after taking a break, Kingslayer returned only to play casually, and had limited interest in returning competitively.[2]
