1. Consumer rights
Nothing in this EULA is intended to limit or exclude any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, any equivalent European Union consumer protection directive, or any other mandatory consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by contract in your jurisdiction of residence.
For Australian consumers: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

5. Your save data
Your save file (save.json) is stored locally on your device and belongs to you. You may back it up, move it, or delete it at any time. Your save file contains a pseudonymous install ID — a randomly generated identifier that has no connection to your name, Steam account, or hardware. Gak Dev Pty Ltd does not claim ownership of your locally stored game data.

Loafstead and all content, assets, and code in the software are the intellectual property of Gak Dev Pty Ltd or its licensors, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This EULA does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
7. Privacy
Use of Loafstead is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this EULA by reference.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law — and subject to Clause 1 (your mandatory consumer rights are not limited) — the software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Gak Dev Pty Ltd does not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law — and subject to Clause 1 (your mandatory consumer rights are not limited) — Gak Dev Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the software. Our total liability to you under this EULA will not exceed the amount you paid for Loafstead.
