“A cross-platform native runtime for web apps. It seems like it’s similar to React Native, except you can use it with React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue.”
“This is a fancy web app with a browser container and a JS bridge for native features. The App screens will not be truly native and instead be a browser page. UI niceties like infinite scroll list might be harder to implement and we must resort to using “previous” and “next” buttons.”
“Personally for building a mobile app, these would be my order of choices:
- Native if my budget and time are unlimited
- RN or Flutter if either one of budget/time are limited
- Basecamp styled hybrid PWA
- Optimise website for a better mobile experience”
