I’m still on Prosody so I haven’t tried this out; not sure how the bridge handles encryption.

I’m glad XMPP is getting some love. It’s a protocol that has some advantages over Matrix and ActivityPub and even over IRC.

As nails-on-a-chalkboard as the name is, this seems to one of the best messaging apps for a mainstream audience.
(Or so it seems. I haven’t used it personally because I use Prosody and bitlbee. But Snikket is supposedly compatible with those.)

A MUC to MUC bridge that can, for example, hook up a Jitsi room to an IRC channel. A couple of known issues, so it needs a li’l bit of hacking.
