Thordan clearly isn’t a good dude, but let’s make him worse. Young, orphaned Estinien catches the eye of Bishop Thordan and Thordan takes what he wants. Estinien keeps quiet and does his absolute best to repress this.

Fast forward 20 years, Estinien is in a relationship with Aymeric. Everything is grand until one night when having sex, Aymeric says something very similar to what Thordan said once when they were alone together. Between that and Aymeric’s piercing blue eyes which match his father’s, Estinien is thrown back into his memories. How he reacts in the moment is up to you–maybe fight, violently pushing Aymeric away; or flight, immediately running away; or freeze, letting Aymeric do what he wants as Estinien’s mind goes away.

Given everything that happened between him and Athena, it would surprise no one if he’d ended up with massive soulbonding trauma. Flash forward to the present day, where he seemingly does it with Igeyohrm in order to truly join forces against WoL.

What if he needed “therapy” to get to that point? Soulsex therapy that either goes through or leads to carnal sex. Maybe Igeyhorm offered with a convincing argument, maybe he had the good sense to admit he needed it and sought it, maybe as things got worse for the Ascians it was a weakness he could no longer leave unaddressed. It could be start awkward, or they get way into it, or only one does and the other has to be the responsible party. So many possibilities!

Some time after Athena’s death but while Venat was still Azem, Venat and Lahabrea fuck.

Lahabrea is used to seeing Venat masked. When she appears bare before him he’s a little startled by her blue eyes but tries not to let it phase him.

During sex he starts having traumatic/horrific flashbacks to Athena with her blue eyes. He has a messy breakdown that he refuses to discuss with or explain to Venat. He just feels sick afterward.

Yotsuyu takes her trauma out on a Doman serving girl. Maybe she’s just feeling vindictive and sexual torment is just another indignity she can visit on those beneath her. Maybe she’s re-enacting her own abuse, deliberately or subconsciously.

Canon Character has feelings for WoL, but are forced to watch the captured WoL get assaulted and all the angst that follows. Aymeric & the Heavensward, EstiniHogg, or G’raha & Emet-Selch spring to mind as examples, but let’s be honest, the WoL has pissed a lot of people off and the possibilities are endless!

Hurt/Comfort is fine, but I would love to see the hopes of a relationship burn in the fires of guilt and trauma >:)

Gaius’ Au-Ra adoptees are having a bad time. They were taken in by a Garlean legatus, but they’re not pure Garlean, and they’re being used as sacrificial test subjects by a confirmed child abuser and possibly an implied sexual predator. Their “dad” who is at least partially responsible for the deaths of their birth families and the razing of their homes - and what are their feelings about THAT? - isn’t around to protect them any more, so all they have left is each other.
